Room rate increased £30 from a Tuesday to Weds, booked into a competitor instead
Room was in need of TLC but was still adequate for the money.
Good value. 2 minute walk to train station with trains to London Waterloo. Free car park.
Single bed is a bit small.
Breakfast is great. Beds are comfortable. Free parking. Good location.
Outdated fittings in bathroom lend a feeling of lack of sparkle, to say the least. Room was not cramped (there was an extra single bed) but the furnishings are very worn, as was the bed. Adequate.
The included breakfast was brilliant: I had a Full English but there was something for everyone. It arrived prompt, fresh and delicious.
- No sky football - TV in the room too small - 'Nanny' control of wifi access which is ok for families but I think I should decide what I watch on the internet!
- Location is right next to the Hook train station - Well heated room
Comfy bed, good facilities and lovely staff
Our tv was not working in our room... We did report it but it wouldnt be fixed until the following day ... Thought we mite have been offered a drink or some food for any inconvenience but we wasn't.
Thee food was very good ... And staff were friendly.
I was only here for one night but the room was very clean and the staff were very firendly.
Breakfast on our second morning was under staffed.
The bed was really comfortable
The food in the restaurant was well below the standard expected
Location for our golf
We just needed somewhere to stay overnight after a party in Farnham. The location was good for us and the hotel easy to find. Parking was no problem. We had a large, comfortable, clean family room with bath, good shower, hot water, all at a very good price.
Booked upgraded room for the larger bed as advertised. Unfortunately bed was only double. As it was only one night and we had already settled in before we noticed we couldn't be bothered to move. I paid the extra for nothing
Very warm atmosphere and decor.
Our shower wall fell off while using the shower, the hotel refused to refund our money. I would never go back there based on the way the staff treated us after the shower tiles fell off the wall.
Very comfortable room. Great food. Friendly staff. Loved the live music in the bar on Saturday night.
Shame the walls were paper thin... I was woken by a couple "enjoying themselves" & then the following morning by someone snoring.....
Receptionist was extremely helpful
friendly staff so helpful
Having to ask for another set of towels, two guests, not one staying
Room comfortable and breakfast excellent. Other hotels cant compete on price with breakfast always being part of the stay
Karaoke taking place on Sunday evening in the bar whilst we were eating in dining room. Staff did not appear to be able to zone the sound.
hotel is in a convenient position for our purposes . Staff very friendly
Again I think the rooms could do with some redecoration and a bit more colour in them to brighten them up
We always stay in the raven on weekends and find the receptionist very friendly and helpful nothing is to much problem for her.
The staff couldn't be friendlier, the food is great, the room was a good size and it's all ideally located to get to London.
None at all
Clean room, comfy bed, free wiFi, breakfast absolutely brilliant, freshly cooked and plenty of it,Staff were brilliant as well, and the meet and greet by the Alsation and spaniel was even better. Superb stay
Rooms are tired.
In need of some updating - all a bit drab. Beds are not full size singles - very narrow. The main area of concern was the owners German Shepherd dog in the reception which growled every time I walked through with my own. Even the lady in reception said when I first arrived that she was "territorial". For a pet friendly hotel this is totally unacceptable and the dog should not be in this environment.
Able to take dog both in room and in the bar areas. Whilst in the village centre very quiet and was advantageous for local amenities. Plenty of take outs within easy walking distance. Good access to M3 motorway.
Very very loud music, as no double glazing the bar has music on max volume. Music doesn't finish until midnight. Loud customers as well, at 1am shouting up and down the corridor. Not a very clean room, needs a lot of work doing to the rooms, and more cleaning! Taps covered in lime scale, and paint peeling off walls, and dirt up the walls.
