Nice location, clean and comfortable, very reasonably price. Good beer, very nice breakfast. Reception staff didnt appear like they were interested in your custom, they had a very poor attitude. |

i was only at the Raven for 1 night as a stop over for my friends wedding, we didn't get in till late and checked out quite early so i didn't realy see very much of it. the breakfast was good and the waiters in the restaurant were friendly the bathroom wasn't very clean |

I was there for a wedding at the De Veres Highfield. The rooms at the Raven are larger than the rooms at the De Veres Highfield Stable house. The water pressure at the Raven hotel was excellent. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Eggs cooked to order were great too. No cable TV. |

The Hotel is within one minute of Hook station that takes you straight into the heart of London. No shortage of shops, restaurants (try the Indian across the road) and Pubs. The whole area around Hook is delightful. Arrived at 9.31 for dinner and were told that the kitchen closed at 9.30. However that's how we found the Indian place! Shower only...couldn't have a bath because there was no plug. |

Easy to find vilaage location. Handy for Railway Station, easy parking,Typicaql young persons Pub, with Block of rooms attached. Bar / lounge / dinning room one large area, great for young drinkers, less so for the quiter older generation. |

Visited on a Sat. night stay over, to attend a party near by. Hotel is good stop over with reasonable prices. The rooms are functional and simple. Breakfast was reasonable for the price and good value for money if you go for the full english option. The staff were friendly and helpful. |

room ok and comfotable for type of stay - over night bed & breakfast.View from room not inspiring - overgrown backyard and boiler room. Breakfast good. Plenty of parking. Restaurant had no fish available for meals listed on menu.Room close to plant room and intermitten equipment noises could be heard during the night. |

Comfortable and convenient access to rail station for travel to London. Breakfast was their downfall in that if you didnt want a cooked breakfast they had "run out" of marmalade yogurts and crossiants. |

easy booking in/out, free parking, friendly reception staff, good size rooms very comfortable, excellent choice of food. not enough staff on at breakfast time, on sunday, tea/coffee had been cleared away befor cooked breakfast arrived, no toast as staff said that had been cleared away as well. |

Friendly welcome. Good room for the discount price charged on the night we stayed (but the advertised full rate would be very expensive). Very good breakfast. Bathroom had cracked sink. No hot water from shower (hot from bath tap OK, but cold to lukewarm from shower). Light in entrance area not working. These pojnts were reported at reception next morning, and they promised to deal with them. |
