The Ravensworth  

all staff and the owners where very friendly .When arrived after a long journey we where given a drink and a piece of cake. The breakfast was fantastic .All rooms where clean . couldnt fault the hotel.

Friendly B&B. Great breakfast with lots of choice and a lovely way to start the day.

The room was large, very clean and well-appointed. Cheryl and Nick were very helpful in arranging our tours with Mountain Goat. Breakfast was varied and the food was great. I would definitely stay at the The Ravensworth again.

We would have preferred slightly later breakfast,it ended at 9.30 and we were on a relaxing trip

The staff were incredibly friendly, the location was ideal as we were closely situated to local amenities (so didn't have to rely on driving everywhere), the room was comfortable and clean, and we are definitely planning on returning there!

A warm welcome with tea & homemade cakeupon arrival. Clean & comfortable room. Tea & coffee topped up everyday in room. Lovely staff excellent service. Great breakfast. Really nice place to stay. Not far from train station & bus station great if you have no car. Would stay again

I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived by Nick,the owner.The room was clean with excellent facilities.At breakfast the staff were efficient and very cheery without being to overbearing.Having a car park spot especially in Windermere is a bonus.Overall I really enjoyed my stay there.

Not much. Bath towels were a bit small but gowns were available (white for me and pink for my brother!).

Very comfortable stay rooms very clean and the bed very comfy, the breakfast choice was excellent we really enjoyed our 2 nights stay

The hotel was lovely and beautifully clean, staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. There was lots of information on local sights and a nice comfy lounge. The double room we booked for ourselves was perfect in every way.

We had taken my mother for her 80th birthday and booked the single room. Unfortunately it is in the roof space up two lots of steep stairs, with no window and was small so was very dissappointing. She had one skylight that she couldnt see out of and the rain hammered on it all night so she got no sleep. The room was ensuite and very clean but it wasnt what we wanted for her special 80th birthday treat.

Really good options for breakfast. Lovely staff and facilities, voucher available for macdonald hotel spa and swimming

The proprietors were lovely people. The English breakfast was fantastic. And Windermere a wonderful jumping off point for the rest of the Lakes region.

We liked everything about our stay.
