Comfortable, relaxing, good food, clean. Friendly and efficient staff.
Lack of storage space for clothes. A bottle water in the room is always nice.

Super position beautiful dining room fab bedrooms.

Noise from party downstairs
Comfortable, relaxed, nice atmosphere.
We waited nearly an hour and a half for a dinner order, and over an hour for a breakfast order which , when it came, was incorrect. We had lost our appetites by then and didn't have the will to send it back. There was no manager overseeing the processes, no apologies or reassurances. This rather spoilt our holiday and our experience of the hotel which was otherwise very good.
An excellent meal and fine service. Beautiful building with a luxury feel.
Good wi-fi reception. Good shower. Excellent food which was very reasonably priced
Booked a suite - but turned out to be just a large double room- overpriced, basic coffee & Tea - no water or fresh milk-no fridge. However looking at the form these were not promised - just expected with a room called a 'suite'
Pretty much everything!
Some of the traffic outside the Hotel was driving far too fast around the Hotel!
Stairway to second floor was steep and narrow with unnatural tread. Lift was small, would have struggled with a full size suitcase.
The garden location
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was top class and I must recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
The wifi would not support FaceTime to be able to speak to my family which is a dissappointment
The food was of an excellent standard and the staff were very friendly and efficient.
The size of the rooms, decor was pleasing. Cleanliness was excellent and the furnishings were tasteful. The full English breakfast was the best we have had and highly recommended. Great retreat yet convenient for town and yet felt like a country hotel. We are looking forward to returning for a weekend stay soon.
The only downside was parking, although there was a party on that evening so more vehicles than usual I would guess. Maybe if there was marked parking bays we may have found a space. We did eventually find a spot after some waiting. This did not detract from our stay there.
We visited my neice and her family who live close by. Was Great. Staff was very helpful.
Stayed in the honeymoon suite, lovely big room, big bathroom, all spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food very reasonably priced. Had a lovely breakfast. Excellent location.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean big hotel rooms and nice bathrooms.
Other guests were not very considerate, they were noisy and made it difficult for a good nights sleep! Although this isn' the hotels fault!
The decor was lovely and our room was very comfortable
The service at dinner and particularly breakfast was very slow even though there was hardly anybody there
Room was spacious and spotless, breakfast was delicious
The noise in the room above made it difficult to sleep, bar area wasn't comfortable.
Good size room Good size bathroom Good free wifi Lovely beer garden Clean public areas Good car parking
The fire alarm going off in my room at 12.15 p.m for no reason, frightening the life out of me and not sleeping the rest of the night. Staff knowing nothing of it the next day. Staff having no local knowledge of where to go to eat. Village of Mildenhall may only be 2 mins walk away but it's a dump. Next time I'll stay in Newmarket!
Rooms were extremely clean. We loved that.
We had a great time there but the parking was a little difficult. I am sure it was because of a wedding and it was down pouring rain out side but it would have been nice to see some lines for where to park. Everyone kind of made it up as the came in and it was to find space. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone.
hotel itself, the friendly, helpful staff, the whole place was spotlessly clean. All the staff were professional and wore uniforms. Food and drink excellent, gardens and river beautiful. A great time.
Very clean and modern hotel with character. Beautifully appointed rooms finished to a high standard. Looking forward to visiting again next time we travel down south. Lovely staff and location. Enjoy breakfast or a nice cuppa on the Riverside decking.
