Pleasant and friendly reception; quiet Your menu was very limited; it was not inspiring. I would class it as very ordinary |

It is very close to the centre of Mildenhall which is one of my requirements. Very pretty gardens. The lift was very erratic. There was no tv remote, not a real problem, but settling down to watch the news on tv and having to get out of bed to change channels a nuisance after travelling all day. |

It was situated in very pleasant surroundings and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was good to stay in a hotel with character and not one of the anonymous modern boxes which abound these days. I have one or two comments where the hotel could improve. I found ivy growing through the window of my room and there was dust on the top of the windows which I found when putting back the curtain rings so the curtains would close properly. The remote control to the TV was missing and the kettle cut out device no longer operated. |

The character of the property and care was taken to make you feel welcome and catered for. Windows (lovely big sash windows) would not stay open in the room. Also it is fair to say that noise from other rooms (this was minimal it must be noted) could be heard word for word at times. |

The location because it was close to the location. Thats it. The stairs were slanted. The room was not clean, the carpets were stained and nasty looking, the bathroom was tiny and when you flushed the toilet you could feel the whole floor vibrate and it would make this loud sound that you could hear for miles, the shower was NOT clean whatsoever. In fact it had an open shampoo bottle from the previous user, not to mention it was so tiny to even shower in. |

Comfortable beds and pillows. White, starched linen in bedroom and dining room. Good-sized room. Level of dust in room and staircase. Not recent dust. Eventually cleaned by one excellent receptionist (John). |

They rearranged the room allocation to suit a less abled member of our party even though the hotel was fully booked. The staff were excellent The cottage rooms are very small. |

The outlook from the dining room onto the large wooded garden down to the river Lark. The staff always took time to talk and were very helpful. Room was shabby and needs updating, and the mattress was very old and worn out, very uncomfortable. |

The location of the hotel - in the centre of the village - is very convenient for pubs, restaurants and shops. It's also a very comfortable, old style hotel with a great ambience. We enjoyed our stay there very much. |

Convenient place to stay when visiting Mildenhall Motocross venue Insufficient staff to cover busy breakfast period - tea served was cold - staff coped to the best of their ability considering they were serving breakfast and also running the reception. |

Overall the hotel's staff was very accomodating. Our room was very large and comfortable and better than expected. Upon arrival, the room assigned to us was very small and had a window that did not completely close and heat that did not work. However, we asked to be changed to another room and the hotel did accomodate us. Also, food sevice was not always available. |
