Great atmosphere and beautifully decorated. Great staff. Loved the hotel cat! Front room was very noisy - we stayed on a saturday night and were woken on a number of occasions by wandering groups of noisy revellers who seemed to use St Peter's Lane as an area to hang-out at 4am!

Small and quiet. Centrally located to sites and subway. Nice staff. Charming room during initial stay of four days. Our second stay prior to leaving for home was tarnished by a poorly located room. The room was noisy (slamming doors). The bathrooms on both stays did not have any provision for bathtub safety. Showers were stressful!

Fantastic location for good restaurants and interesting city walks. Lovely quirky but clean and comfortable rooms. Rooms on the small side but if you travel light its not too much of an issue.

Beautiful hotel. Very nicely decorated room. Excellent staff. Location was great, very short walk to the tube. We had some glue that kept seeping up from the bathroom tiles. Little trickly taking a shower with the handheld shower and no shower curtain.

the atmosphere is brilliant in this hotel. Lovely interior, as if you step back in time. Luxury beddings and toiletries. Breakfast served in the room is an absolute must! Can be busy in the weekends with crowds outside. Luckily the hotel has double windows on streetside which make the noise almost absent..

A lovely hotel with a twist, the furniture being from yesteryear. Stunning 4 poster beds with sloping floors. Very grand. Would definately use again! Would have liked coffee making facility in room. Just for 1st thing in the morning & last thing at night. Wouldnt stop me from going again, though.

Lovely feel, l love the location, friendly staff. Personally I like a bit more light and space (dark red walls, dark wood in my room), but I can see the rooms would appeal to a lot of people

All rooms and facilities were in great order- but for us the surprise came with how accommodating everyone was with our baby. They provided everything we needed including cot, baby towels, blankets. It was really thoughtful. Room service food was a little disappointing especially for the price.

The decoration and interesting layout of the room. Having a skylight in our room without a blind over it was absolutely terrible. A huge design fault. As a result, I was woken at 5am by the sun and couldn't get back to sleep. For the reputation and cost of this hotel, I was very disappointed by this.

the staff was amazing, the location is excellent, Loved the Ren products. the bed was very comfortable, the rooms air conditioned and overall the hotel is very cozy, charming and tasteful. I would definitely go back, especially as I discovered how close the diamond district is to The Rookery. while the hotel has free WiFi It would be good if there was also a computer to access for guests who didn't lug their laptop.

This is a beautiful hotel, it was a real treat to stay here. Upon arrival to my room, I discovered a gift basket of 2 bottles of Fleurie, handmade chocolate and luxury crisps. Fabulous comfortable 4 poster bed, with the best of bed linen...a free standing bath, bathrobes supplied.. Breakfast is served in the bedroom, I didn't avail of it but am sure it would have been as good as the surroundings. Overall, I couldn't but recommend The Rookery. It's a hidden gem....!

decor is olde world; all bedrooms different; sanitary fittings are restored antiques; antique old masters hanging on walls; breakfast in room at time to suit visitor. our room this time was a tad small but very nicely furnished and a comfortable bed with lovely pillows and linen.

“The Town Hall Hotel is exquisite. The decor is amazing and the facilities are excellent. We received a free up-grade to a bigger room (without asking) upon arrival. It was very comfortable. The bath was huge. The bar serves fabulous cocktails - a little pricey but worth it. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were lovely and helpful.” Evelyn, Shankill |
