the best is the location, near to marbel arch underground and bus stop. altoguh the hotel is old-fashioned, the room and the bathroom were clean. the furnitures of the hotel: hall, rooms, dinning room, carpet; seemed dirty and old-fashioned. the english breakfast is too poor.

The beds were clean & comfortable. For the price, the room facilities were very poor (no heating control, furniture and carpets stained, TV was difficult to operate and remote did not work), breakfast was of poor quality and some staff were unfriendly.

Very close to Marble Arch Incredibly in need of a refurb or at least a clean, the white paint downstairs is essentially grey from years of dirt.

Location Everything is terrible except the location. We paid the rate including the breakfast, and the breakfast was simple beyond the imagination: cereal / milk, orange juice, bacon, egg, beans. Then I was told I have to pay for the breakfast for bacon, egg, beans since they are "cooked".

There was nothing enjoyable about staying at this hotel. The hotel is outdated with poor facilities. The hotel is cold at night and they do not even provide glasses in the rooms. There was no-one who could assist me with my bags upon arrival and I was put on the fourth floor - there was a small archaic lift to the third floor but no lift to the fourth. At no point did anyone try to assist me with my bags to the fourth floor. I booked the hotel because it advertised free 24 hour internet usage throughout the hotel. Despite informing the reception upon arrival that I would need to use the internet each day of my stay for work, they put me in a room without internet access. I asked to be moved rooms - I was then put in an unclean room with a telephone that did not work.

Its location In my experience this venue does not qualify for the title "hotel". The size of the rooms are much too small. The building is old and dilapidated.

General decor was extremely poor and the window wouldn't open - not good when you located next to the room is the lift equipment for fire escape purposes, etc!

Location, Location, Location. Great value, nice old building with buckets of shabby charm. Decor was better than I expected, but the location was awesome. I meant that we didn't use the tube once booked in, Soho and all the eateries that has to offer, is close, Marble Arch looms from the front door, the best shopping in the world on your doorstep, just don't buy too much as the lift isn't huge!

relatively close to the city centre, very polite and friendly staff WLAN not working properly, no air condition, room very small, TV size very poor and limited number of channels, very small "king" size bed, rotten furniture, hotel needs refurbish, price / performance value poor, for the money we spent we could have stayed in much better hotels, even in London......

There was nothing to like about this hotel. Had we not been running late due to heavy traffic we would have walked straight out and booked into an alternative. The shabby reception area, which bore no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures on the website. The monosyllabic, gum chewing reception staff and their children who were also behind the counter watching tv. The ancient, horror movie style lift. The narrow corridors piled high with dirty sheets and towels. The fact that the only way to get from one side of our room to the other was to climb over the bed as there was no room to walk around it. The light did not work. The overall air of seediness and shabbiness - the whole place needed a new coat of paint and a good clean. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Good location, near Oxford Street and Marble Arch Clean, but bare minimum, no charm. Our room happened to be stinking of cigarette smoke (although this is probably a one-off issue).
