Shabby accommodation Dirty carpet Noisy environment Dark room with bad smell
Location and the staff were great.
It's a bit shabby (although no complaints about cleanliness)
we where put in the 'family' room which did have five beds, but it was in the basement/dungeon it was dark, smelt awful, felt really unsafe. There were holes in the bathroom floor that were just overlay with lino, the bathroom suite itself was dark brown so helped hide god knows what! along with a T.V pre-programmed to 'gay rabbit t.v' which is fine to some, but not to our kids! I would never ever recommend this hotel and am quite sure you should take it off your website.
Found the trailing electric wires a bit worrying. Health and safety would have a ball!
Prime location and reasonably clean with a very polite staff
Place is kinda old and should have invested in new furnutures
Place looks very shabby, needs a spruce up. Breakfast rolls were stale.
I really like the location and the kind staff. And it was a cozy hotel.
The staff were amazing, so helpful and polite, The rooms were clean, but a bit dated. The breakfast was good in a lovely room fresh tea and coffee all the time. The foyer was clean and welcoming. The hotel did it's job, somewhere to sleep and shower while you see London, and play, don't let the condition of the hotel put you off, we were made very welcome at the. Rose court.
The standard of the bathrooms left a little bit to be desired they were clean but tacky round the edges, shower head wasn't the best, and the bath was very old and marked but was clean it's just the condition of the item's.
location and staff
room was next to the general rest room on the floor
Location and price were perfect
The hotel is in need of modernising and the rooms were small. Normal Yale lock for door. Felt more like a bedsit room without the kitchen.
Accommodation in need of refurbishment.
Dirty smelly rooms. Needs updating. Not a nice experience
Location and only location
Bed and room is poor
Excellent location, comfortable room with central heating, good breakfast -- value for money.
Location is great
Our room was in the basement....
I have stayed in this hotel many times, staff are very friendly, very helpful. It's a great location and I would recommend it.
Staff generally friendly and helpful
The facilities and rooms are poor for a hotel in this location.
Very small room
Only an excellent situation.
Very poor breakfast. Didn't have any room to leave bagage while wait for the taxi to the airport. Very old, not very clean. Small room. Very expensive to be the hotel like this
The location was good for what we wanted to do in London.
The hotel seriously needs money spending on it to do redecoration and to update everything. The headboard in the main bedroom (room 100) was a material 1 and it was filthy!! The sheets were clean but that's all I can give credit too. I paid £224 for 5 of us and it was disgusting.
wifi constantly disconnecting no heating in bathroom
Location. Breakfast ok
The food spread in the cafe was fairly good. The coffee was excellent. The bathroom was clean and there was a bath tub which my young son really spent some time in it. I liked it as it was quaint, cosy hotel and it was situated in an affluent address -Great Cumberland Place, and just near to the Mont Blanc. It's just a walking distance from Oxford Street and the Marble Arch tube station. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in London after 15 years. I left London in 1999 as a student and came back as a mother.
The smelly carpet, I think ceiling above our room needed some repair. Might be the water from the bathroom above our room. The hotel need to improve on its heating system; it could be quite cold in winter.
Location Request for a quiet room.....perfect. Breakfast....fine. Helpful staff and friendly
Hotel was tired, rather shabby but clean. Building of historical importance but needs total refurb.
Walking distance from everywhere we needed to be. Perfect location to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Embassy.
