The food was very good, we ate in the hotel every evening and it was a quiet location. The staff were helpful and attentive. On arrival loud music was blaring in the reception area but was soon turned down. Music in all the lounge areas was a bit intrusive at times. |

The service of the food (whichwas great and wholesome) at dinner and at breakfast was excellent and we were nmot rushed to get to the next course. Personally I am not one for carpets in toilets where there are showers. Tiling would be much more hygenic and easier to keep and get ready for the next visitors. |

Very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is not in Aviemore, but a couple of miles outside the village. |

It is a very comfortable clean hotel. We did not have a meal at the restaurant but the menu looked very good and the restaurant comfortable. It is simply a good hotel and I have no problem recommending it. I am not sure about what the other rooms are like but the beds may not suit a very tall person. The beds are however very comfortable. |

Pleasant, comfortable accommodation in a lovely part of the country. Proprietor seemed to be fawning over the other guests even offering them my continental breakfast which was dropped off at my table without a word being spoken, it was bland and the cured ham was strange, only ate the one slice of cheese and left the rest, before the waiter said are you finished and whisked it away from under my nose. Have stayed before but won't be staying again! |

We loved the location and surroundings of the hotel and we found the hotel very comfortable and the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was fantastic! We were booked in for 4 nights, but had to change rooms after 2 nights (we'd taken the room meant for my mother for 2 nights and she then extended her stay to 4) - the first room, Room 8, was a delightful room and we would loved to have stayed put for the duration, but we were moved to Room 2 and, unfortunately, the room or bed wasn't as nice - it was also very noisy, both from traffic from the road and the bedroom above - someone decided to walk around all night and we didn't get much sleep! |

I liked the location, the public rooms and the quality and choice of food. Also the decor was attractive and homely. I didn't like the small size of our attic bedroom although it was well decorated |

I liked the calm, cosy atmosphere that started at the gardens and just seemed to get better throughout the hotel. The size of the lounges, bar, and dining room, the open fire; the classic stairway to the bedrooms all together in a central point gave a nice feeling of comfort. |

Very friendly. Excellent food. Nice, comfortable lounges. Minor things only: Would have been nice to have a bath as well as shower. Biscuits with the tea/coffee in the room would have been a nice little extra. |

Large log fires, wonderful food and drink, extremly helpful and friendly staff. The bedroom was lovely, clean and well decorated, I slept like a log it was so quiet and when I woke in the morning the view of the hills was breathtaking. . |

The general atmosphere was like being welcomed to the family hearth, and this warmth was extended through the service provided by the owner and staff. |
