We liked everything the Staff, food, location, rooms. We came for Xmas lunch and stayed overnight. We had breakfast which was great as well. We are palanning to come back again this year. We could not get the Freeview channels in our room. I would have liked more meat served at the Xmas lunch only 2 slices per person was given.

The facilities where great and the room was very comfortable. I had to book in very late due to my work and travelling from the north of England. I did write that I would be late checking in when I booked the room, and picked this hotel because of the 24 hour reception, however I found that the night staff where not organized and tried to charge me a late booking and a late signing in fee and said there was no paperwork about my booking, even though I had the booking reference number. This needs to be sorted as people bookinng in late are tired and need to get to their rooms quicker than the guests that arrive in the day time.

I have stayed at the Royal Chace about half a dozen times and found it to be very comfortable, however, on this latest stay I was less than satisfied. Rubber sheets cover the mattress, which are very uncomfortable to sleep on. The tv in my room only showed 4 channels, itv1 was missing along with all the advertised Digital channels. The cooked breakfast is now a buffet rather than made to order. Unfortunately, I will now be looking for an alternative hotel when I stay in Enfield.

The rooms are reasonably small and whilst clean and tidy have started to look a bit dated.

Classy but affordable. The staff and location made me feel like royalty. Very commutable into London but far enough away in a soothing environment. My room looked out onto a tiny enclosed yard that I thought was odd. There was no access from anywhere to this area???

The first time we have stayed here and we found the Royal Chace to be very well run, the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant, and the food very good indeed, the breakfast in particular was so well laid out (we had the Continental). Good value for money in a first class hotel

The location was good for us as we were only in the uk from fl for a weekend party, that was being held very nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views of the surrounding countryside are pretty, considering it's proximity to the m25. Bonus, on a good day, Heathrow is only 40 mins. Away. There is no elevator, but our bags were taken up to our room. Once we figured out how to crank up the heat in our cold room we were fine. The rooms are very small, the double beds are very hard and again very small, the pillows were also very hard. The bathroom, again small, was adequate, with a tub, and a good overshower. I always appreciate the tea making items in the room.

Location. The room was small, cramped and cold. The bathroom was a strange, inconvenient, design. Not good value for money, especially without complimentary breakfast.

Great food. I like the restaurant. Fast and good room service. The location is very good, not far from rail station. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Friendly staff. The bath itself was very small and tiny, apart from that everything was great.

It is perfectly situated for visiting family and friends and it was a good value for money. The rooms were comfortable and attractive but a little on the small side, but good value for money. The bar area and restaurant were very relaxing and the service was good. The Royal Chace is a very attractive and comfortable hotel, however the receptionist was less than welcoming on arrival although we were allowed into our room earlier than advertised. On checking out, the same receptionist was again not particularly friendly and never asked if we had enjoyed our stay or if there were any problems.

Great location, very quiet and relaxing. Manager on duty was fantastic in resolving a problem. We specified a non smoking room and previous guests had smoked in the room. She came & verified this was the case and immediately changed our room without a fuss. Food wasn't that good for breakfast or when we had dinner at the bar one evening. Childrens pasta in tomato sauce was disgusting. Also we left behind a pair of children's shoes and were told the shoes were not there when I rang to ask. This was the only place they could have been. Very disappointing.
