Very good,
Score from 124 reviews
“Have used this hotel a few times now. We originally started using it when we couldn't get rooms in a hotel a bit nearer where we were working. We have found the Chace is better priced, friendlier, has better food & is now the hotel that my Norwegian colleagues are asking to stay at when we are working in the area. Staff have a great attitude and a sense of humour too.”

Just a really nice place to be a home away from home and not right in the downtown district. I needed to find a better way to/from the oakwood tube station rather than the taxi'S. The cost of the taxi was quite a bit more than the tube to downtown London.

Good location, easy parking and nice sized rooms. Excellent gym. Bar meal 'special' lasagne was dry and overcooked. Bedroom was cold, no heating working and no extra blankets in room.

Stayed for 1 Saturday night. Access from the m25 was easy and the parking was good with plenty of space despite there being a big wedding reception. Our room on the first floor was clean and functional. The bed was comfortable and there was a kettle etc in the room. The bar was fine and drinks were reasonably priced. It was well located for us to get to Enfield and North Finchley and we would stay here again for a day or two. The price for breakfast was so high we did not consider staying for it even though usually we do have hotel breakfasts. No fridge or mini-bar in the room. The plumbing was noisy.

Good location I thought it was a little pricey for what it is worth. Breakfast for example was £15 and being a chef all my life thought was very excessive for what it was

Pleasant staff who remember your name ( I have been there several times before.) Very good parking for North London location. Food in restaurant pricey but well prepared and interesting. Snack bar menu good Not particularly good for disabled - although the hotel is only on two floors there is no lift or ramp which makes access to the upstairs breakfast area difficult for people like me who have leg injuries The downstairs restaurant is all right - there is a ramp but elsewhere the only access to the second floor is by rather steep stairs.

The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of the Hotel is very good - close to Enfield, North London, yet in a rural setting. It has beautiful gardens and, although I did not use them, full leisure and spa facilities.

Nice hotel where London meets countryside. Lots of parking, comfortable bar. The shower in my room was tiny. I'm overweight and could barely get in and turn around. As I was only staying one night I didn't notice until I used it next morning. On check-out reception said I should have asked to move, other options were available - that was dumb. I should have been warned on arrival that the shower was tiny or sensibly allocated a different room. Better still change the design. Friends in another room said double bed wasn't big enough.Mine was ok for me on my own.

What a fabulous Hotel, the staff are wonderful and really make you feel special. Overall the service level is so high that it should be 5 star rated. Beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and excellent food and servicee. A fabulous find. I would drive an extra 20 miles to stay here as opposed to another local hotel it was that good ! Not one fault !!!

all in all a very good value hotel with good staff. Our rooms were too close to the hotels dance room where a very very noisy disco was taking place and this went on till 12:40 am.

Classy but affordable. The staff and location made me feel like royalty. Very commutable into London but far enough away in a soothing environment. My room looked out onto a tiny enclosed yard that I thought was odd. There was no access from anywhere to this area???

It is perfectly situated for visiting family and friends and it was a good value for money. The rooms were comfortable and attractive but a little on the small side, but good value for money. The bar area and restaurant were very relaxing and the service was good. The Royal Chace is a very attractive and comfortable hotel, however the receptionist was less than welcoming on arrival although we were allowed into our room earlier than advertised. On checking out, the same receptionist was again not particularly friendly and never asked if we had enjoyed our stay or if there were any problems.
