Very comfortable bedroom with ensuite, excellent value.
Rooms was warm Breakfast was amazing
Food was not edible, steak was as tough as rubber. Big gap between wall n and window
Everything - all good
not very good TV channel selection windows difficult to open, old and a bit dangerous someone could have an accident
Everything. the food in ash was brilliant and the breakfast in the hotel was best ive had.
Nothing everything was great and highly recomended by me.
The night porter was very friendly & efficient
Room was shocking , mould on bathroom roof , cramped & outdated & very overpriced by at least £20. Staff left a lot to be desired to !!
Great location in a nice hotel and great value for money too.
only 8 parking spaces available wich is only made known after booking process is complete and parking spaces are not dedicated for residents so very hard to park at hotel
The beds were comfortable and supportive, very clean, nice bathroom.
The room smelled like smoke and as my fiance is pregnant and has asthma this wasn't good at all, and we were given two single beds instead of a double bed, not great for our first date night away from our wee boy in 5 months!
Lovely warm and comfortable hotel and the staff are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Also very nice restaurant on site.
My only criticism would be that the buffet breakfast was a little cold, although well cooked.
Comfortable, friendly staff Reasonable restaurant food at decent prices
Buffet breakfast, t poor coffee Difficult WiFi connection process Confusing special offers for restaurant
Room was nice
This is a traditional hotel with the convenience of being situated virtually attached to the train station. Welcoming and very clean with lovely attentive staff.
Great value for money. Very comfortable bed. Staff are amazing, can't do enough for you. 30 second walk to the shops.
Twin room was a bit on the small side.
Location ,food, staff
Would have liked a bath but will specify if staying again
Noise at night and trains leaving at 6 in the morning
Location. Staff. Atmosphere.
Pillows a bit hard.
Was not advised that we had to book a table in the restaurant. However, we were able to eat at the bar!
The lobby and main areas were nice. The location is very good. The price was perfect at 60lbs.
The rooms and non lobby areas were definitely in need of renovation. A little rough around the edges.
Location excellent. Welcoming and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed, room cosy and warm. Did not have breakfast so unable to comment.
The hotel was in a great location and very clean ,
No hair dryer , breakfast was almost cold , I would have expected at least a good breakfast for 144.00 per night, Some of the staff struggled to understand our accent (Scottish) We had a meal in the restaurant at night , the Guinness battered haddock was very bland , nothing that I would recommend to any friends , We were lucky and got a parking space out side the hotel ,
Didn't like anything about this hotel at all, was very rundown and dirty!
Same as above didn't like anything, there was dampness in the room, temperature control didn't work in shower and radiator, ate at the restaurant in evening and got food poisoning and so did my partner
