Location, being next to the train station. The evening meal was very good and at a reasonable price. The room ,though not very big, was clean and tidy. |

hotel is comfortable and I liked the location as it was very central and next to station. I was not too impressed with one receptionist, but the others were very nice. |

Public areas elegant and have good ambience. Restaurant provided better than average fare at less than average prices. Bedroom fine and en-suite very good. Hotel location very handy for sightseeing and getting around. Breakfast food, although very tasty, could have been hotter. |

Clean comfortable well appointed room. Excellent Scottish breakfast. Central location. Staff attitude - very offhand. Room changed once staff realised we had booked online. Feel that we were probably downgraded to a smaller room in a less favourable position. |

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The ASK restaurant had very good tasty food. One day when I was not feeling well, they sent me up a basket of fruit. I think it is touches like these that make a guest fell especially welcome. The breakfast had plenty of choice. My partner thought the breakfast was excellent. The room we had could have been better as the space was compromised by the eaves of the roof. |

Location was good. Restuarant menu was good. Lack of parking, although staff did direct me to the most cost effective external parking. TV reception and choice of channels could be better. Wall paper in room (126) in need of some attention. |

comfortable and clean rooms, staff friendly, excellent central location room 105 was too small, it should be made into a single room with a chest of drawers added for storage as there was no space or storage apart from a single wardrobe. |

Good location right next to the station, ideal for my trip. The staff were friendly, particularly in the restaurant area. The hotel is rather worn around the edges and could do with a bit of a freshen up, however my room and the public areas were kept very clean and comfortable. |

The location of the hotel was good and our room, after we complained and were moved, was excellent. Our original room was small & pokey, and had a number of faults. The native staff were impatient, particularly on reception. Native catering staff were poor, although the Polish staff were polite and efficient. Parking difficult. |

The room was clean, comfortable, however the hotel is now in need of some tender love & care clean up; the little things need to be looked at ie carpets, nets in the bedrooms some have holes, paintwork needs a fresh up. |

Regarding hotel staff, some are awful. some are very nice, i think it is depend on their personality. The Cleaning staff is very nice, keep the room very tidy and generous.Breaskfast is great, grand and a lot of choice. The toilets near the hall way is grand. Should have more flexible and reasonable check in time as guests usually have to fly and travel from a long way. At 2:00 PM the room is not ready yet, ask to sit or go around the town.Is it the way of welcome by a famous hotel business? Train and flight time can not be fixed in exactly for the check in.The store room for luggage clearly say that no responsiblity for the lost!! |

Nice old building Non-smoking room stank of smoke and receptionist was reluctant to provide an alternative. Buffet breakfast ran out and some items were cold. A guest was allowed to take flash photos in th edining room during breakfast which was both invasion of privacy and potentially a migrain/epilepsy trigger. My protests were ignored by the individual and staff |

Excellent access to other parts of Highlands by neighbourring railway station. Provision of early continental breakfast before catching 7am train to Thurso. Good, reasonably priced evening meals. No hooks to hang anything on in the bathroom. Bar service overlapping with the dining room so that the former was slow at times. |

We were happy with the location of this hotel. The rooms were roomy. The service at the restaurant was very slow. |
