The attention to detail and personal attention of the proprietors has always greatly enhanced my stay on this and the previous time we used this extremely comfortable and well equipped hotel. .

We had a good welcome when we arrived. No spaces in the car park which is very small but found a spot on the street. Room was nice and we loved the bathroom decor and we could see the sea -just. Breakfast had a great selection of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt and the cooked breakfast was the same. My only complaint was there was too much! Didn't like the liquid soap dispensers in the bathroom. I understand the reason for these but you had to use loads of soap and it wasn't very good either.

I arrived after the evening meal sitting so the owner directed me to two reasonably priced local eateries. I could have got a take away and had it in the hotel but not in my room (fair enough) No complaints and will stay again. Only issue I have as a business guest is with Bookings.com, They do not issue breakfast times for hotels, This one was 8.15 on the dot but if I had asked for something sooner they would do their best to oblige. As it was the breakfast was one of the best I've had and plenty of staff on hand Everything was fine on my stay

comfortable bed several things dissapointed but probably best not to moan here. The owners were more interested in telling me ( verbally and by e mail) my disapointments were my fault rather than offering a simple apology

The hotel was very clean & the breakfast was excellent - good choice of food & well cooked. We got off to a very disappointing start, our welcome by the female manager was far from warm & friendly. She was rude & curt. She spoke in a very aggressive confrontational way and upset all our party within 5 minuites of arrival. When we were taken to our room, one of our party fell over a small step....to which the member of staff said "I've told you about the step, and there is a sign about the step too!" He was actually stood in front of the sign! I also agree with other guests - the hotel if full of signs & rules on all walls - very petty & stern notices. The car parking spaces are too small for cars. I would not reccomend the hotel.

The breakfasts were excellent - fresh soft fruit was a nice and unusual touch. The room was clean, although fairly small, and everything worked. Staff were helpful and friendly. It fell somewhere between the "hotel" and "guest house" categories of accommodation. As such, I found it somewhat expensive compared to local guest houses (Bridlington does not have many hotels).

The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was well run. My only complaint would be the shower, as it was of the mixer type and the pressure wasnt enough. An electric shower would cure that.

The comfort, cleanliness and cuisine were splendid and the weather was fortunately perfect. Nothing really but it would have created a good first impression if when asked on early arrival if we could use the toilet(medically an essential requirement)the landlady had acceded to this reasonable request. In all fairness when we returned we were given a free room upgrade.

The staff were really helpful, the room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. THere was a good selection for breakfast with fresh fruit as well as the usual cereal, toast and full english breakfast. It is close enough to the local town without being so close that you get any noise at night from people leaving pubs etc. The beach is within a 5 min walk.

Excellent facilities, large dining room with a first class breakfast. Great customer service and attention to detail and ideal location for the beach, town, theatre etc. We had a comfortable and enjoyable weekend. The shower screen needed updating in the bathroom but everything else was brilliant.

the food was very good, also staff service, and well organised. I just feel with a four star service, there should be more than 6 parking spaces for 15 rooms, and wouldn,t get 6 large cars, also en-suite was very small only room for bath and wc, the wash basin being in the bedroom outside the en- suite

The hotel is well situated 1 minute from the promenade and about 10 minutes walk into the actual town centre. Parking is ideal as the hotel has 18 rooms and about 7 spaces of its own, however street parking is allowed free and as it is a quiet area there are always places to park near the hotel. We loved the hotel and would go back again. Lovely spacious diningroom, all public rooms and our bedroom were very clean with a lovely fragance in our room which lasted constantly.Food that we had was lovely with plenty of choice. We were fine, but there is not a lift in the hotel for anyone with difficulties. Could not fault this hotel except for a very minor problem where one day our teapot etc had not been emptied and cleaned and the duvet could have been a little wider as my husband and I kept turning over and pulling it off each other! None of this however would stop us from going back.
