The kingsize bed was really comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated for shopping, the millenium stadium, railway and bus stations. As there is no parking on site you need to park at a nearby NCP car park. However if you arrive after 8pm on a friday or saturday the town is fenced off, which means you have to travel a long way around to get to the car park. This is probably quite straight forward for people who know cardiff, but at night in the dark it does not appear an easy route. It would be better if guests were warned of this beforehand. |

The hotel is very central, very close to the train and bus stations and very close to the shopping areas and restaurants. Road is not very busy with cars even though it is a main road. Five mins walk to all attractions in Cardiff central. Breakfast very good with a lot of choice. Staff very friendly. Twenty-four hour reception. |

We liked the modern interior design. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful. The entrance was a bit strange - having no reception on the ground floor level. |

The Royal Hotel Cardiff was very close to the train station and to the shops and restaurants. At the same time it was very quiet within the hotel, which did not seem to be affected by the noise of cenral Cardiff. |

Central location. Comfortable rooms though quite small. All staff on reception were helpful and pleasant. Would have liked teabags and milk etc replenishing daily. |

It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice. We were disappointed with the exterior of the building, but I am pleased to say that the interior was much better!!. It wasn't easy to find because of the roadworks. The exterior windows made the room look a bit dirty, but the room was in fact clean. |
