Perfekte Lage nahe Heathrow-Express Paddington! Sehr "Englisches" Hotel- im besten SInn. Preis-Leistung ok. Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage nahe am Hydepark. Gerne wieder. |

"strategisch" sehr gut gelegen, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr schoenes, fuer Londoner Verhaeltnisse ruhiges Zimmer das man das teure Fruehstueck im Zimmer einnehmen soll |

Staff were very friendly, helpful and effecient. Lovely room very clean and well appointed. Hotel very convenient for Hyde Park as well as Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations. No tea and coffee making facilities |

Great location, great welcome even though we turned up early. Were upgraded to a lovely four poster room. Staff were very welcoming. Paying a room service charge for drinks served in the bar. Window sill planter full of cigarette butts and dead plants - really picky but surely its these details that make the difference? |

We were made to feel very welcome. Any request was met with quick response. Friendly staff and keen to please. No dining room for breakfast. Thought the price for continental breakfast in room rather high. |

Location (tube station nearby), decoration and quietness of the room, newspaper room delivery. The ventilation in the bathroom was poor. The heating did not really heat at the temperature indicated on the control screen. At the price we paid the breakfast should be have been included (either as a room service, because the hotel does not have a restaurant, or as a coupon to eat at a nearby café). |

the bedroom was comfortable and cosy. the staff were polite and helpful.it was close to the underground the room was quite small. no restarant in the hotel and only a small percentage of the food menu was available as room service. breakfast was dissapointing and we were charged for items that we didnt get. |

No tea/coffe in room; believed prior to booking that we would be given champagne etc on arrival. Informed staff that we would not return to hotel until midnight & we were told that Champagne bottle would be left in room - but it was chargeable (not inf of this at check-in). One bath towel provided - 2 each preferable; air condition not v good - room was hot. |

location was excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly. No tea kettle in rooms. Noise can be heard whenever someone walks in the room above you. Not enough TV channels. Small TV screeen. No swimming pool. No bar. No massage therapist. Old furniture. Basically, it should be rated a three-star hotel. |

the location was excellent for our purpose of staying in london Telephoned twice for directions but staff unable to direct us. our room was not ready and had to wait 2hrs before we could take our luggage up. no champayne on arrival as promised. was unaware of the £30 extra car parking per 24hrs |
