-Amazing staff! All smiles and very friendly (except for one that had attitude; you know who you are!) -They offered city maps when checking in. -Speedy check-in. -Liked the iPod dock station/radio in room. -Daily newspaper. -Cozy feel to the hotel; it feels like home. Let's start with the super heavy front door! There should be someone to open that door or install an automatic one! I have an arm injury and found it difficult to open it by myself. I requested a quiet room when I booked and got a room on the second floor #129. very noisy I could hear peoples steps upstairs! Even ear-plugs couldn't help. Whats ironic is that I got a call from reception to turn down the telly volume coz next door were complaining its too loud! It wasn't! Maybe your wall are too cheap and thin and guest are not allowed to watch tv after 10 pm? The sink has 2 handles (hot&cold) which is not practical at all! The fridge wasn't cooling, turns out it wasn't plugged in the first place! I plugged it in and 12 hrs later still not cooling! I - Shower drain was clogged not draining, which defeats the purpose of showering! Disgusting ;x -Noisy air conditioning vent! and it wasn't cold enough. - they didn't clean my room one time, although I had the sign on, and the next day they did but didn't replace the bed sheets! I spelled tea on it the night before and there was a big stain in the middle! - No complimentary water or kettle in room. - There was a mistake in my invoice, but they corrected it. - Asked to check out at 2 PM, but they said they were fully booked. Checked online and plenty of rooms were available, and when checking out I heard a member of staff saying that room #x were checking out at 2! Didn't appreciate that at all. - Will I be staying there again? IF and only IF ALL the paddington area hotels were fully booked and I was guaranteed a room on the fifth floor. It was my 1st and probably my last time there.

Location and coziness 1. Staff forgot about welcome drinks, breakfast order. 2. The Internet was really unstable.

Everything was enjoyable about my experience except for the fact that the air system was broken in my room. They were honest about the issue and tried to fix it but it was obvious they had the problem for a bit of time. The room was too warm most of the time and could not be adjusted. Other than this, it was a good experience and I would stay there again, especially if they address the the issue of the ac.

It is certainly overpriced. Also the way they expect you to have breakfast in your room is poorly explained and considering the size of the rooms is not very practical at all.

A beautiful area of London in a wonderfully beautifully old, classy building. We got a basement room. The room was tiny, tiny, tiny to the point we had no place to put our two suitcases. A garden view was a wall with a little but of ivy on it. It smelled damp. The room was decorated beautifully, but The whole environment was not up to the hotel standard.

The bathrooms were very nice, with a bath, and the staff friendly and accommodating (to the extent possible, limited by policy and facilities). When their printer wouldn't print in the "business center", they took the file from a thumb drive and printed it out. Very poor internet service, so if online access is a necessity, not the place to stay. Also, if you like to sleep in, you will likely be awakened by the upstairs guests as the ceilings/floors are not well insulated. In general, it was set up as a high priced (nearly 4 pounds sterling for a bottle of water) luxury hotel without the services or the luxury.

We thought the hotel was lovely, so niclely decorated and furnished, we have been disappointed with other hotels but the Royal Park was a winner. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent room service and generally a good atmosphere about the place. We thought our room was a little on the small side which made it difficult for two people to move around the room.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is also excellent value for money The only thing I did not like was the selection of television channels available. As a person travelling from another country I like to be able to access a wide selection of international news, sports, documentaries.

We had a really good experience at the Royal Park hotel- the staff were very helpful and freindly, the room they gave us was better than what we had booked. We were very comfortable and wished we had an extra night booked. We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Friendly staff. I also like the size not too many rooms. The location is ideal for visiting many different areas of London. Is very conveniently located near a mainline and underground station. Would recommend to friends.

Since the first moment we entered, the staff was very polite, we were even offered a welcome drink. The room was simply amazing, with every kind of comfort you would desire. The price is just a bit too expensive, but this hotel really worths your money :) perfectly located, just 2 minutes from hyde park squirrels :) i definitely would reccomend it!

I always stay at this hotel and will continue to do so. Our room was upgraded to a four poster suite which we were delighted with and the staff were polite and very helpful. The location is excellent for shopping, nightlife and very close to Lancaster Gate tube station and also Paddington. All in all a very pleasant stay and will stay here again. The only gripe I would make would be the price of the bar snacks. Over priced for what they are.

Nice old fashioned cozy atmosphere. Nice rooms. Wonderful staff. A little short on facilities: no bar, small (but cozy) lounge which doubles as a bar is not sufficient. No gym.

A very attentive, personable, classic English service hotel. Small, boutique sized, but practical room. Excellent shower (what a difference that makes), bright, clean and well presented.

The intimate feeling of the hotel. Very friendly staff and it almost felt as homecoming. Beautifully decorated hotel and rooms. Very comfy bed! Good location close to Hyde Park. That there is no tea/coffee making facility in the room. Or just a small bottle of water. Minor detail but it would have make my stay complete!
