The hotel is old and shabby, the staff unprofessional, rooms are tired and unclean with stains on the carpet and mattresses that are worn out. We were booked to stay two nights but left after the first. The hotel is very noisy so a restful nights sleep was impossible.

Not Much, Only the location. The food was disgusting, the rooms were dirty but the bed linen was clean, room central heating was good but the lounge area and bar area were very cold. Staff were hard to find,It seems such a shame that a fine building like this is let down by silly things that could so easily be put right

In no way would I recomend anybody stay at the Savoy Blackpool, the name is a contradiction in terms, rooms Dirty Mould growth on windows and curtains, windows that would not open, what happens in case of fire? No soap, and the towels! Grey is obviously the in colour! Food terrible evening sunday dinner all frozen products and the yorkshire puddings not even aunt bessies but smart price, would make good soles for shoes. Breakfast passable, that was when you managed to find a clean dish or plate, the diswasher obviously needs looking at as yesterdays meal was still on the plate. Room brouchure states breakfast from 8-10am but they stopped serving at 9.30 am so late arrivals went without breakfast. DO NOT STAY AT THE SAVOY BLACKPOOLL

The view from the bedroom window out to sea and along the prom was precisely why I went. The bathroom was spacious and very bright. I was unfortunate to have a room which seemed to be next to the heating pump or fan. There was an irritatingly loud and steady "hum" day and night. Breakfast was all self service and by the time I had queued for the hot food, the rest of what I had collected (coissant, butter etc. and coffee) and my room key had been cleared from my table. Back to the cold queue.

For the price we paid, it was great value for money. The room was really nice, great sea view and good size, The breakfast was good as in all Brittania hotels, and the staff were great all round. We had no hot water on the first day/evening and the shower was very dated, as was the bathroom. They offer parking, but it is limited, first come, first serve. But it was a nice break.

Our room was dirty. The bedding and towels were ok. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. When we turned the tap on in the bathroom sink, lots of black hairs blew up from the plug hole in the bath!!! My cousin was sick and I was heaving cos I had to move it. Yuk!!!!! As usual in Blackpool we never got the room with a sea view. The price of drinks at the bar are daylight robbery. The room was very hot and we could`nt open the windows for fresh air. Reception were very nice. Breakfast was fine. Coffee was horrid. I`m not going again.

Some of its architectural features. The fact that most staff did their best to be helful, despite spme obviously difficult working conditions. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, thin cheap worn mattress. The bathroom was minimal, tired and suffered from poor water pressure. The use of 'value brands' meant the hotel could not provide good tea or coffee. Overall general wear and tear coupled with low maintenance. Low staffing levels.

No parking space available as hotel full of clients for a claims firm, Looked like the audience from a Jeremy Kyle show. Two hours to get iron and iron board delivered volunteered to get it myself. Floors creak old original fittings. Joke of a 14 inch tv (remote bigger than the tv) Then had water pouring through roof of bathroom. Had to go (after desperate phone calls) down to reception to get someone to have a look and replace the towels I had used to stop leak. Receptionist cheerfully informed me that the people above me had let their bath overflow. (Silly billys) place was packed with elderly (very) elderly holiday makers. If you like bingo and Ten Guitars this is the place for you. I`ll give it a miss in future...

I found that the hotel it self was dirty, it was not cleaned from saturday at 2pm and was the same on sunday at 10.00 am, the room was dirty, there was no shower in the morning at 7.45 am only cold water, the breakfast was cold and Bland. The bar staff on saturday evening was unhelpfull, I would certainly not stay or recommend the Savoy to any of my friends. The Savoy was a total let down
