The hotel is old and shabby, the staff unprofessional, rooms are tired and unclean with stains on the carpet and mattresses that are worn out. We were booked to stay two nights but left after the first. The hotel is very noisy so a restful nights sleep was impossible.

I was happy with friendly helpful service provided and it was value for money. I come to Blackpool approx 4 times a year and I would definatley come back to The Savoy . Breakfast was lovely too, set me up for the day and plenty of choice. I booked a smokers room and they had no ashtray. Upon asking I got a sugar bowl!

The only fault was the position of the tv in the room...it is situated right at the side of the door as you enter,it is at a dangerous level and my partner hit her head twice.Fortunately no serious injury was incured, but I seriously advise that the tv be situated elseware in the room to avoid any serious injury....

The breakfast and good cheap local across the road. Very small room with no window very stuffy, mattress was really hard ended up with a bad back the next day, there was glass in the wall where it looked like someone had smashed it,very thin duvet, old style small tv with only 5 channels that sat ontop of the wardrobe,no entertainment as they sent him home because a few lads had asked for the footy to be on,staff were very miserable don't remember seeing one of them smile ! Bar is expensive and not a good selection of snacks,we paid £49 for 1 night and I find this a complete rip off will never stay there again and will be warning anyone I know not to stay there !!!!!!

Brought friends to stay at The savoy for a 50th birthday celebration as we had stayed here before. Thought the breakfast set up was not as good as before too much queueing and not as well organised as before. Did request rooms with sea view, which I know are not guaranteed but only got one with sea view. Apart from the above we had a good weekend.

Nothing, an absolute rip-off, £2 charge for everything and anything using card as payment. Would never recomend this hotel to anyone!!! The room which was booked as a double room was quite obviously a single room with a double bed shoved into it!!!! I total embelishment of the what was advertised and will be attempting to get my money back.

Nothing at all. John Spink Sadly a faded glory hotel almost 100 years old with just one lift accomodating only 3 people at a time, this proved to be totally inadequate. Beds were uncomfortable to say the least and the shower was a disgrace. Breakfast, the only meal we took at the hotel, was of a passable standard. If it is the last hotel to be standing in Blackpool and I need to stay there I'll sleep on the beach! John Spink

Nothing at all. For the money it's the worst hotel I' ve ever had the misfortune to stay in. I don't usually complain, but if the last hotel room in Blackpool and they want more than £30 a night then turn around and go home!!! Stay in this hotel and you will be disappointed! All of it. It's over priced and a complete let down.

Room was dirty towels where grey and stained bunk beds in room were a health and safety risk they were loose and shaken about stale tea left in tea pot from previous guest bath covered in enamel chips hotel inspector would not give one star rating breaksast was plenty apart from when I finished breakfast I had left a few baked beans as I was full then noticed 2 large black hairs on plate underneath beans which made me feel sick and spoiled breakfast when sitting in reception asked about wifi was given code but like many other costomers was not able to connect which was a waste of time taken laptop all in all very very poor accomidation needs lots of issues addressing to live up to the name the savoy hope my comments are helpfull room 105 first floor ps we are not stuck up a down to earth northeast family but expect some home comforts and basic hygiene is one of them naturaly lots of people arnt doing there jobs properly

My room was dirty; Carpet was stained, tiles in the bathroom had grount missing, seal round the bath needed renewing, the bathroom floor was dirty and the shower had a leak on the mixer tap so using it meant wetting the bathroom floor. The lift was out of order for some of my stay; they do not have a service lift. The reception staff were unhelpful when I tried to complain about my room I was dismissed with 'I can send repairs up and I'll contact housekeeping’ Food was good and the restaurant staff we very pleasant.

The food. Breakfasts were excellent both in the quality of the food and the dining room itself. Plenty of helpful staff. Room 347 Shower was disappointing - chose to have baths which was time consuming and took far more water. As a keen sports fan I was disappointed not to be able to get Sky Sports on the TV

In its time it would have been a very grand hotel, but looking very tired now. The view from our window was lovely , breakfast good, good value for money. The bathroom was not very clean, bit far out from the centre.
