The hotel needs complete renovation from top to bottom the hotel chain needs to spend a lot of money or sell it to u can
The food was good, entertainment ok for older people .
Booked two rooms which were on different floors, booked a twin and a double got two doubles and a fold up bed not what I asked for. I was not informed of tho when I arrived either, the one double was like a sauna with a small window you couldn't open which made my asthma come on .
The hotel was extremely hot
close to blackpool
first room we had was terrible could not open window and bathroom was not very clean plus the hotel could do with an revamp for the money i paid.
The price was excellent, convenient, the. Staff friendly and very pleasant, clean, food was great, will be staying again now we know we can bring our dog
Nothing we were very pleased
poor old bed nearly had to sleep in the attic old hotel in poor state
Bed uncomfortable. Windows filthy could not see through them.bathroom window not lockable. Pillow and quilt pointless as quilt too small and pillow as flat as anything. Only 1 spare in the cupboard for two people. Heating loud all night and banged every half hour: so very poor night sleep,
Hotel was near to centre, so was able to leave car and walk. Facilities in room useful.
Not enough selection for cereal. Not enough car park spaces, had to park on side.
The staff were good, and overall really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel could do with some refurbishment.
Smelly room Bad decoration No internet connection Noisy
Location, Very good breakfast.
Small filthy room with very small window with frosted glass without a view. No idea what the weather was outside because the window could not be opened.
Location, comfort, value.
Having to go downstairs for WiFi. Minor grumble
staff were friendly
damp in many places
friendly courteous staff, Buffet Breakfast well catered, all the options you could ask for and more. Would stay again next time I am over
location of room top floor at the back due to lift and additional stairs & incorrectly pouring a pint Guinness, Arthur wouldn't be happy
We were a mature couple who have just spent two nights at the savoy , would never stay there again even for free it was very shabby and looked like it hadn't been decorated for about 25 years . We didn't have any of the food so can't comment on that . Booked a sea view room but got a sideview when I complained they said it was still a sea view never again
The room was a family room and we only booked a double so it was bigger than expected
Breakfast was the worst food I've ever see didn't eat it had to go out for breakfast every day , room needed updating and noise was coming from boiler pipes all through the night

nice hotel food very good helpful staff
hotel bedroom was to warm couldnt sleep
Location was good food was good all round a good friendly hotel
The room and bathroom were a good size and comfortable. Evening entertainment was appropriate and enjoyed. Location was good for us, a reasonable walk into centre but quiet, and on bus route.
More attention needed on cleanliness. The dining room had many areas of considerable dust. First morning breakfast was a bit chaotic, having to wait for more food items.Furnishings somewhat tired and need updating. Unable to reduce heat in bedroom -too hot.
Good location, good proportions.
Room vastly iover heated by 2 inch hot pipe. All windows open all night. did not use bed covers. Trams thus very noisy. Staff overwhlemed by numbers at breakfast. Dirty crockery, shell in egg. No tea pot. No herb teas Furniture a bit wobberly
food was ok
the room was on first floor but they were smoking rooms disgusting!! the web site does not state smoking or not !! very disappointed and the state of the room was bad wallpaper coming off and very damp and musty it stunk!! we took pictures
The only complaint we had was the rooms were uncomfortably warm. The windows were sash windows and the window in the bedroom would only open about 2 inches at the top. The bathrooom window would lift up at the bottom but would not stay up, we could not open the top window. iI was up and down most of the night putting a wet flannel on my forehead, neck etc to keep cool.
no problem with this hotel at all.
