Like every other Britannia Hotel they are in dire need of refurbishment.
The broom-cupboard room I was allocated. Would have been better off sleeping under the pier.
Room was ok basic clean
I always stay at hotel when visting family..and as value for money..it far outshines the rest in Blackpool...great staff...always friendly..and nice warm rooms
That I had to leave. ..nothing...nothing nothing that I dont like
I wasn't keen on the room a nice location but no good in winter very draughty and cold only one duvet so finished up sleeping with extra clothes on no good for pensioner like my self
breakfast was good
to far to walk to town
The desk staff were great
The food was really awful
Location. Sea view (just) and riding the tram. The building is great, and may one day be grand again.
The food was disappointing. We felt a bit unloved (like the food).

We liked the room the staff the was very friendly. Breakfast was very nice the bar was not to expensive
My wife didn't like the walk from the train station
Breakfast - it was over cooked
Dinner couldn't est the roast beef. Breakfast was better with help your self. Coffee was shocking!!!
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Public areas looked good.
Cleanliness of first room, and equally grubby in second room offered. Requested refund which was given with an apology for the cleanliness of the rooms. We found another hotel for the same price and streets ahead with quality of rooms. Very disappointed as the photos on the website offered so much promise.
Staff were very friendly & Helpful, the location and the view was very good.
The Savoy was probably lovely in its hey day, but serious money needs to be spent to bring the Savoy up to a decent standard, The general cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
Pleasant staff Comfy Beds Rooms very spacious Price was very cheap
Comfort helpful staff
Breakfast & location
We were reluctant to use this hotel again after our first experience and i must say it was greatly improved from our last visit. The room was a good size and clean with a sea view that we asked for. Breakfast was really good and a buffet service not many places do the bacon and sausage well cooked just how i like them. Would have no reservation in staying again after this visit.
Lack of room service our room was only serviced the once during our 3 night stay. Also no heating in the bathroom and blowing a gale through the windows.
Good Location Night porter was friendly
Lost my booking, which I had paid for, made me stand at the desk for 30 minutes while I waited for it....no apology. It was my dad's 50th and booked it 7 months prior so I was annoyed. Eventually got to my room. My room 125, had a loud pigeon nest out side, a window that never closed, cut my finger on bathroom lock, right above function hall! Room actually shook it was that loud. Woke up at 7am on first morning with fire alarm. Oh and shower was broken...which I'm sure they knew when I was put in room. Someone did eventually come and fix it but long after I had dragged all my stuff to my dad's room to shower. Very disappointed!
The rooms where very dated and cold. Asked for sea view and didnt get it. Was woken by a fire alarm. There was a spider in a bowl. Disgraceful
When told staff about smell of smoke in room they said they would move me
Bathroom, television, non smoking room stunk of smoke.
nothing really but the only thing I could say nice was the reception staff were very helpful and the mattress was firm I could see it had been a lovely hotel years ago it really needs to be closed and complete refurbished
It is dirty, the pillows were to thin, the dining room staff was so sour looking she did not smile, the bedroom was far to hot the windows frames were rotting, the toilet did not flush it was an experience i would never like to have again
The fact that it was cheap for the give nights I stayed and the location of the hotel
The fact that my toom was not cleaned on a daily basis I.E bins being emptied bedding being changed and the bathroom condiments not beig replenished throught my stay. No plug sockets next to the bed and no iron or ironing board and when asked took three days to get these items.
Nice and friendly and you were left alone. No fuss made and I was just left alone to get on with my business.
