L'hotel est très bien situé en centre ville, le batiment correspond bien au niveau "luxe" affiché. Concierge francophone très efficace. sécurité insuffisante: porte secondaire non surveillée et donnant directement accès aux chambres. Au prix de cet hotel, il est très irritant de ne pas disposer d'internet sans avoir à payer un supplément. Le petit déjeuner, promis par Booking à 10£ m'a été facturé 13,50, et il n'y a pas de chocolat: j'ai du en acheter à l'épicerie voisine! |

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement:proximité de la Gare et du Centre- ville,l'ascenseur direct des chambres jusqu'au niveau 0(Waverley station- 1 rue à traverser).Personnel attentif dans l'ensemble, une mention spéciale pour Joël. Lit de 140, très étroit pour 2 personnes, au pays des King-size.A Noter également,qu'1 soir à 22h. notre chambre n'avait pas été faite!!! |

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bed wonderfully comfortable. Amazingly central location, yet still totally quiet in the room. Charming, cosy room. Breakfast was not included in the room rate - why not? UK hotels normally do include it - and is very expensive to buy as an extra. |

The staff was incredibly friendly and service oriented (i.e. I noticed upon arrival they had been practising my for nondutch unpronouncable familyname, during my stay they managed to fix a broken lamp before I had a chance to report it without me even noticing them doing this. Just magic.) |

The staff was excellent, friendly and went above expectations to make the guests feel welcome. There isn't anything I didn't like per say about the hotel, but it doesn't quite live up to its advertising as a boutique hotel. The room was nice, but nothing different than what one would find in a nice chain hotel- the furnishings and window treatments were nothing special. In addition, there were small details which lessened the room- the curtains were falling off the racks, there were large stains on the carpets. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The classic beauty of the building is striking and a treat in itself. Very good central position. A few 'small things' bothered: no ventilation or air freshener for the bathroom/toilet, no hand towel rail near to the basin, poor water pressure in the shower. I had booked an extra bed online, but the hotel seemed unaware of this when we arrived. The TV remote control was missing and a replacement had to be found. |
