The proximity to the theatre is why we choose to stay here. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. A new mattress was definitely needed |

Food in Othellos is excellent. The room was far, far too hot for comfort, the fan provided for cooling was noisy and the curtains were so heavy they blocked any draft from the open windows (I couldn't leave the curtains open, even slightly, as the room was overlooked by a restaurant). As a result I didn't get much sleep. Disappointing considering the price. |

A picturesque place to stay in an extraordinarily interesting and beautiful town. I have stayed there several times, and despite problems with understaffing would still elect to stay there as its location is unbeatable. It's a short stroll to the Royal Shakespeare Company's theatre, my main reason for visiting Stratford. The hotel restaurant and bar are manifestly understaffed.. The staff is willing and cheerful, but severely over-faced. Breakfast is a particular problem with a considerable wait for a table on Sunday morning. The 'pre-theatre dinner' on Monday night took so long to be served we couldn't enjoy it when it arrived..had to bolt it down or miss the curtain. |

The location, the old worldly decor. The extra small room and not enough light in the bedroom |

The character of the building and the central position. The room was quiet, but no view. Ideas;- National papers available in lounge. Also local weather forecasts. |

It filled our need for a base whilst we visited Stratford upon Avon The only parking was at an NCP 10 minutes walk away. There are an awful lot of stairs in the hotel. |

The car parking arrangements (NCP) were unsatisfactory. Too far from hotel, especially in the rain! |

The service was very good and my Wife especially liked the surroundings - low ceilings and beams. She felt it was in keeping with the history of Stratford Upon Avon |

We enjoy the bedroom, which is quite special considering that sleeping area is separated from the toilet area. No free parking. |

Coutyard Theatre As you like it ,Visit to Warwick Castle, Walked around the town ,Shopping It was incredibly hot while we were there which restricted what we did We were at the end of a winding corridor and up a flight of stairs at the end of it. Not much fun at my age with a heavyish suit case. The Q below I would recommend the hotel but only after saying they should ask where there room was |

The staff In our opinion, it was very expensive. We had a small, cramped room not in the historic part of the hotel, which was disappointing. We found the bed too soft. Parking was limited and cost extra. For a 'room only' booking we felt that it was poor value for money |

What made the weekend memorable for us was the proximity of the hotel to all the sites of Stratford. I thought the room albeit very attractive I did think it was very small and if I return I would probably have to upgrade to a larger suite |
