The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely consider staying there again.
great Location ,nice room
Restaurant ...too dark!! Insufficient staff at breakfast . Bar not well staffed ,poor stock levels.
The location, the hotel, cleanliness and size of room was lovely..room 403.
Parking was tight..service and quality of breakfast was very poor.More staff needed to be on duty.
Location right in the centre of town. Large sunny bathroom. Deal at Rother car park good value.
Rother Street car park extremely tight for a large car. Bedroom rather small and cluttered with furniture.
Lack of car park space
The hotel is in a lovely location, it's an interesting building with lots of character, very convenient for the theatre, the river and shops. The breakfast was good, and the service from all staff was very good.
The room was an odd shape, there was little space between the wall and the end of the bed, which in turn was very close to the wardrobe. The windows were obscure glass at the bottom, we assume to block the view of the flat roof, not a great room.
Upgraded to a suite, separate lounge area
lost power during the night so struggled getting in and out through the darkness
friendly staff allways there to help nice comfortable restaurant and bar nice and central to shopping area
Central location; everything within easy walking distance
Placed in Garrick Wing which was tired and worn with threadbare carpet on the stairs. Also noisy early in the morning
EVERYTHING WAS FINE
The breakfast was disappointing the tea had no hot water the toast was cold and the cooked food was slightly warm.
Fantastic location, central to town for shopping, dining and enjoying a few mulled wines with friends.
Bar service was restricted as no tender readily available. Had to keep asking staff at reception every time we wanted to order a drink.
Excellent spacious apartment separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom, warm and comfortable, a very enjoyable relaxing stay.
Will be coming back in the summer excellent hotel and location really enjoyed
Location Bar area
Low ceilings with lots of beams - watch your head! Room towards noisy street with thin single glazed window. Pull certain and you've blocked off the radiator - room gets cold. Bathroom never got really warm. Far too dark in Restaurant. Food ok but could be better. Overall: This hotel doesn't rise above the very mediocre standard of hotels on the island.
Breakfast buffet tired & unimaginative
Receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly .
Superb location in the middle of the historic area of Stratford, within easy walking of the theatre, shops, restaurants and historic sites. The hotel had bucket loads of character and an excellent Marco White restaurant which was competitively priced.
Payment of on site parking costing £10 per day.
The location, the decor, the bathroom and toiletries.
signal on EE very poor. Room a little noisy as near service lift. 129
excellent location for theatre
poor breakfast on Sunday
The staff are exceptional, nothing is to much trouble. The reception staff are extremely efficient and friendly.
The Breakfast was very disappointing, the cooked meal was cold and very unappetizing. Not a good end to a lovely night away.
Room could have been lighter and more space in it. On the whole the weekend was very enjoyable and staff excellent
Excessive charge for paying guests staying at the hotel.
Great location within the olde worlde theme park that is Stratford Upon Avon. Great to see space for a Tudor built premises within the Mercure group of hotels.
Car parking arrangements - pretty poor actually, but not bad enough to spoil the trip. The fabric of the hotel - carpets, paintwork, etc., need more than just a bit of T.L.C..
our 2nd time here, the hotel is lovely and teh location great.
the bed sunk in the middle and was not as comfortable as usual.
