建物はクラシックで雰囲気が良かったです

食事の注文で、こちらの要望がきちんと聞かれないで、多く請求が来て抗議したので、いいぶんは聞き入れられ- ましたが感じが悪かった。部屋の電気のことなどで教えて欲しいとフロントに電話したのに無視され来てくれな- かった。車で来ているのを知っているのに、出車の際の暗証番号など一切教えてくれず、慌てました。建物は良- いのに、スタッフがバラバラで全く連携が悪く、対応が悪いので、せっかくの伝統のあるホテルなのにもったい- ない気がした。

The staff were excellent. the accommodation was fine but was surprised to be in annex. Despite the triple glazing it was noisy but it was a city centre location. It was very, very convenient for the theatre and this was a big family trip to the theatre. I would stay again. Yours aye, Denis Robertson Sullivan

Once or twice I am not sure the staff understood us. English was clearly their second language. The service in the bar was a little erratic. I felt I shoudl have been told that it was an annex. I know you have triple glazing but it was still noisy being on a main road.

Location ideal for attending function at the town Hall next door!

The friendliness, atmosphere, and as a solo traveler ( female ) I felt very comfortable there and the food was very nice ( room service) thank you for making my stay such a plesent one!

Beautiful tudor period building. Very central location for Stratford. Lovely choice of food for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room with fourposter bed (honeymoon suite). Overall a very pleasant stay and would definately use the hotel again.

The bedroom and dining room were too warm. The mattress in our bedroom was not very comfortable.

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were helpful. It is close to the theatre and also in the centre of the town.

The tea wasn't made with boiling water.

I ordered a coffee at breakfast, waited 10mins & was forgotten.

Creeky floodboards

The location was as we expected excellent.

We were led to expect car parking, in fact the car park was full and we spent our first morning trying to find somewhere to park after rising very early to avoid being clamped. The room was very small, and rather drab. The hotel explained afterwards it was in fact a single (but with a small double bed which it was quite hard to walk around). There was inadequate storage, two pillows, one towel and no toiletries in the bathroom ( we did find some toiletries and a couple more towels hidden in the small wardrobe on the second day). The bathroom was nice. The room was only suitable for sleeping in as there were no chairs, but the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Admittedly we arrived late, but we weren't made to feel welcome on check in, and we were offered no information about the hotel or about alternative parking as their car park was full. Checkout took a very long time as there were a number of groups with problems being dealt with. When we finally got to the front of the queue they had already taken money from my debit card so there was really no point in the 45 minute wait. I have stayed in lots of hotels and this is the first substantially negative feedback I have given. The hotel have since offered us a complimentary upgrade if we return, but I don't expect we will. This Mercure hotel seems to have all the disadvantages of a corporate brand and none of the advantages.

Loved the old building, location was great, staff were helpful, bathroom clean and modern and price was reasonable.

It had an ideal location for what we required.
