We stayed in the older main building which was uneven and true to a building of this age, however it captured the atmosphere of an old building but was clean and fresh and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, room clean and most comfortable and breakfast well presented and enjoyable. |

The attitude and attentiveness of the staff was first rate; the food was very good and the room was very comfortable. The hotel was ideally situated in Stratford, as everything we wanted was in easy walking distance. The wedding party on Saturday evening rather overwhelmed the place. |

Design and atmosphere . Central location . Walking distance to theatre.Comfort in public rooms and bedrooms. It was a little difficult walking from the Garrick rooms to the main hotel in the rain especially when one is older and walking is a problem. |

The location and room were excellent the staff were very friendly and the Breakfast was excellent. We arrived back to the hotel very late . we had previously checked that we could still get access to the hotel after 1am but both the carpark and front door were locked . There was a bell to ring but this should have been mentioned when we checked earlier . |

Location is good for shopping and sightseeing, However there is no safe in the room, and the facilities are only just adequate for a weekend away... Lack opf basic facilities i woould associate with a 4 star hotel. There was a mininbar in the room but nothing in it. You can ask for it to be filled for a price and a 'hidden' service charge. An empty mini bar is as good as no mini bar...and thee was no safe in the room. |
