Nice hotel with beautiful gardens. The food was satisfactory but the location just that little to far from town.We enjoyed our stay and would return.
check in easy excellent staff confortable & clean beautiful location
The breakfast wasn't value for money.
Comfortable bed. Warm pool. Lovely grounds. Helpful staff. Good parking.
Stuffy single room on the third floor, with small windows. Needs air conditioning. Orangery restaurant smelt of the swimming pool.
Your were unloading laundry outside my room from 5:30 to 6:30!!! Disgrace!!!! Rm 103.
Good sized room. Quiet hotel. Good spa facilities.
Staff in general simply snooty and unwelcoming, especially man in reception who looked me up and down when I arrived like I was something stuck on the bottom of his shoe - very strange 'customer service'! One, nice friendly lady in the spa however. Major problem was the food. Both dinner and breakfast where only edible because I was so hungry. Genuinely revolting. Scrambled eggs were plastic, tasteless pellets!!! and were actually inedible.

Price should have included breakfast
Helpful friendly staff
Quite expensive & room needed air con as it was a hot day
I enjoyed the comfort and peace of the room (309). Having moved house that day, I enjoyed the steam room to relax, had an excellent supper and slept really well. It could not have been better. Thank you.
Very clean, comfortable, lovely lounge area, good location (10minute walk from town). Efficient service when requesting something for the room. Friendly staff. Excellent waitress in the bar/brasserie, very professional and polite (Ines was her name).
Though the reception staff were very friendly and polite, you did seem to have to ask exactly the right question in order to get the info you needed. They should tell you all the basic info on arrival without you having to ask (e.g that the larger restaurant is only open for dinner 3 evenings per week, or which direction to go to get to your room, etc). However, we would definitely recommend this hotel.
Staff very friendly, clean spacious rooms, all facilities, plenty of parking breakfast and dinner very good. All staff great.
Nothing to dislike.
Quiet location Very attentive, helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent service at all times. Excellent breakfast and food in the bar. Beautiful gardens and lake.
Bedroom was beautiful and very comfortable but because of hot weather and no air conditioning it was difficult to sleep. Swimming pool very small to swim in.
Spa facilities very goof. Treatments excellent.
Bar prices very expensive.
Excellent service and food in the bistro
Smallish room, noisy
The size of the room
We liked the restaurant and the food was superb. The room and bed were also excellent. Generally a top hotel.
We couldn't get spa treatments except for very early in the morning. The point of going to a spa hotel is just that. However we do realise it was a bank holiday weekend and maybe we should have booked them in advance.
The old world atmosphere. The one meal I had was excellent.
The Spa treatments. High Tea in the Lounge. The beautiful grounds. Very nice staff. Room was large and well appointed.
Had to turn off the air conditioner at night, requires maintenance. Some floors were very uneven. Walk into town was a little too far considering the uphill climb on return. Fine Dining menu was not to my liking.
Practically same price as Premier Inn (in Tonbridge) but so much better-swimming pool, spa, dressing gowns. Lovely spacious rooms with toiletries. Will come again.
Courteous staff friendly environment clean and comfortable
the shower curtain round the narrow bath tended to wrap itself around the person taking a shower!!
menu not the best also expensive for what was on offer .
Leaving a day early
Rooms have no air conditioning and with windows open ...I was bombarded with smell from the kitchen extractor fans blowing fried fish stench in my room. Asked for a fan...couple of times...eventually got one. Admittedly, not one of my better stays.
Excellent room, nicely patinated with view of the garden, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with wonderful shower. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Couldn't stay any longer.
Over all the hotel very good, and staff very helpful,
not at all happy with hand basin water very slow to run away, pillows hard and lumpy, as I was in room 115 was kept awake by young folk leaving there party very drunk shouting crying and been sick not a good end to my 3 days ,and not what I would expect from a hotel of your type
Great location and spacious, beautiful room - very comfortable, and stylishly old fashioned.Very Tunbridge Wells - highly recommended.
