This hotel is price value as there are a pool and sauna. Dinner is cheep but good taste.There is a bus tub in the family room.

There are no safety box and fridge in the room.You should enter postcode to satnav CH8 8BA or you will reach a different place!

The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and would stay again when next in the area.

The rooms were a little tired but then the price would increase if these were a higher standard.

Friendly, helpful staff, good food and comfortable rooms. Pool and leisure facilities available on site.

Slight ?drain smell from en-suite bathroom.

Stayed for one night in the executive suite which was excellent. Would recommend it.

I can find only one serious complaint and that is the food on the breakfast self service was not hot very disappointing, I also should have requested that our toast was served later than the cereal. As that also was cold and hard by the time we were ready to eat it. The position of springfields with good views was a perk.

Most of thestaff were friendly

There was a birthday party which encroached on the resident's bar. Also I was woken at 5am by guests below, continuing noise, Night staff was not interested!

The food

Previous occupant of room had been smoking. The smell lasted for ew hours after.

The best thing was the impeccable service by the staff. Receptionist was always so eager to help me out. I had a problem with connecting to the WiFi on my laptop (which is provided for Free!!) on the first day when I arrived. They got help immediately and solved the problem in like a minute! I went there as I was getting my Zumba Instructor Training and the Fitness Centre was quite close by. However, the hotel is a bit far away from shopping centres and stuff... But, one can go down to Flint Station with a taxi and get a train from there to wherever he wants. I liked the fact that they offered Free Wi-Fi. The food was great. The restaurant was very quiet which I really liked. They have a pool, gym and sauna which me and my boyfriend didn't have the time to use since we were there for just 3 days. Overall, this was an excellent stay. If we're planning another stay in Wales, we'll surely book in this hotel again!

The only thing is that the room was quite cold and the heater didn't work. But : when I asked the receptionist, she offered to change our room for us. It was us who refused as it was just 1 more day and we didn't think it was worth the hassle of moving for just 1 day. But the quilts kept us very cozy during the night so we didn't feel cold at night, thankfully.

It was a great weekend break and I picked up a lot of leaflets advertising some great weekend music and I will be going back

The food

Bathroom and bedroom need updating and decorating. The room was very hot even with window open all day and no heating on. It was also Not very warm outside so I don't understand why it was so hot. The room also smelt musty and damp. With occasional chlorine smell. We worked out our room was directy above the swimming pool.

we liked the helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. good to have an indoor pool and the restaurant was good. very good choice on the menu and catered for children.

the bed was very creaky and you could hear next door people and people above on the next floor. some guests were not quiet and did not consider other people. the pool was a bit too hot although very nice to swim in.
