Convenient location. Good restaurant. Friendly staff.

Very friendly greeting at reception, the rooms were really nice clean and comfortable. Our room had sea view which was really good. Bar downstairs not a huge amount of atmosphere but friendly service. Spar facilities really good. For the price very good in deed.

Friendly and helpful, clean hotel, hot water which works, low price

The rooms and general interior decor of the hotel are tired looking and in need of refurbishment. The key to the room would hardly work. Sound-proofing between rooms is non-existent, you can hear snoring or TV from the next room.

Poor sound proofing in the corridors and no damping on the door shutting fittings, hence doors slamming in the early hours.

The buffet at the party was good as was the function room

The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and would stay again when next in the area.

The rooms were a little tired but then the price would increase if these were a higher standard.

I can find only one serious complaint and that is the food on the breakfast self service was not hot very disappointing, I also should have requested that our toast was served later than the cereal. As that also was cold and hard by the time we were ready to eat it. The position of springfields with good views was a perk.

Good basic accomodation. Bed was very comfortable. Good buffet breakfast. Good value for money.

If I had to find something: rooms could do with some pain and breakfast could be fresh cooked instead of keeped warm. didn't bother me though, very happy with my stay

The size of the room, the quality of restaurant food and very reasonably priced, pool and gym facilities were excellent, very friendly and helpful welcome from Debs. Excellent value for money.

They used the restaurant (instead of the funcation room) for a function on the first night, unforntuately our room (a family room with a 1 year only trying to sleep) was directly above this. The noise from this event was extremely loud from 9.15 ish until 10.45 ish, especially when they opened the doors as they were hot, they were also smoking outside. Due to the noise and the smoke we were made to shut out windows. The walls were vibrating with the level of base on the music system. We tried to phone reception to see what the noise was but there was no answer. This made for a disturbed nights sleeps on what wer thought was going to be a rexlaing break in a quiet hotel.

This really was excellent value for money. The room was as good as any I have stayed in and the free use of the gym was welcome. The breakfast was endless !
