The room is very clean and big enough to accommodate a small family (2 adults + child). The staff her name Mandy is very friendly and helpful. Hope to go back again someday.
No internet access.
fantastic location and staff couldn't be more helpful.
Clean, ample space in room. Friendly staff. Fabulous location.
Loved everything. No complaints whatsoever.
We had a great time staying at the Stables. clean, friendly, breakfast great and very welcoming.
Staff, cleanliness, country location, peace and quiet, nice small continental breakfast
the room, breakfast in fact we loved it all
The staff were very helpful and friendly The room was very clean and fresh towels were changed daily and refreshments also There is an area where you can sit and relax overlooking a great view The location is excellent for sightseeing
There wasnt anything i didnt like about my stay at the Stables and I will be returning in the future
Ours was a one night stop over on the way to Pwllheli so my comments are for a short stay. The owner , Mandy , was very welcoming. The room was clean and well furnished and in the bathroom all was well - everything worked. The surroundings are quiet and the area seems perfect for long walks. You could easily base yourself here to tour the area. We were given a tour of the old stable which is now a restaurant. Impressive.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so you need a car to get to the nearest eatery. Mandy is looking for a decent offer to sublet so hopefully it won't be long before it re-opens.
Good location ,genuine sincere caring owners ,good standard of cleanliness, would use again.
The relaxed countryside atmosphere made for a very pleasant stay, and the location was very good for exploring the surrounding country.
Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff.
Very tired decor. Beds very soft. temperamental shower. Poor sound proofing. Extra for breakfast and no cooked option...Unattended garden. Just not worth the 70 pounds...
Good location as a base for Coast and mountains , staff friendly and helpfull , enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others .
The beach nearby
Staff ( a lovely lady brought us a nice breakfast in a tray with 5 minutes warning) and chalet style rooms on ground floor room made easy access with luggage.
Had to pay cash as machines were down. trouble funding a staff member in the middle to late evening.
Dirty, tired decoration, said they had trouble with bank and they couldnt accept cards so i had to go and get cash, window wouldnt shut.Garden a mess would have looked better had the lawn been cut and ashtrays emptied.
Comfortable bed. We were offered fresh milk for our beverages. Plenty of room for car parking.
The bathroom was very poor, toilet seat moved, door did not close fully, holes where cable and pipe had been removed filled with tissue paper. As an apparent 4 star rated accommodation, there were no toiletries apart from soap.To get hot water into the basin took a long time, and wasted a large quantity of water, and then only got luke warm water. The plug in the the basin was too small. In the welcome book it informs that in case of fire, activate the fire alarm outside and then call an internal phone number. Also if you wanted an early morning call phone another internal number. No phone in room. It would appear that new curtains had been fitted but the old rail and hooks were still left in situ. It was not pleasant to see a lot of excess length cables for the television lying on the floor at the entrance to room. No effective secondary lock fitted to final exit door. When people occupying other rooms, it tends to be noisy. The web site showing map of location does not show the location accurately, and the description and reviews of facilities such as dining room and cooked breakfast, did not to exist.
We stayed at The Stables for my birthday and received a very warm welcome during our visit. The Stables is in a great location for exploring the local area and is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is also delicious. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Relative high price for such a room and no breakfast
The warm welcome from the owner Mandy:) She made us feel at home. Amazing location within driving and walking distance for local attractions. Beach, Castle, and not far from Mount Snowdon about 10 minutes. We found our way round really easy forget the SATNAV!
The room comfort, the views, the peace and quiet. The breakfast was enormouse. The staff very nice even down to the youngest member
The shower was a bit outdated
Everything was excellent you couldn't find a better place to stay with the hard working owner making you feel welcome to a very well appointed cottages or single room.
Comfortable with adequate facilities.
Spacious and clean. Mandy was kind and helpful.
No breakfast and dated decor. Showers/bathrooms need upgrading
