Staff friendly, cooked breakfast was first class. Would have been perfect if the bar area was open in the evening; even just serving bottled beers/wine. Or if there was an option for this area to be open for a group booking to use on request. |

Great breakfast in a wonderful eclectic dining room. Motel style rooms, so parking is close making transfer of luggage very easy. As the Bistro is now closed, there are no dining facilities within walking distance. |

Location and atmosphere very relaxing - comfortable with all needs met - owners very attentive - excellent breakfast. It would benefit from the approach from the main road being updated. |

Your website indicated dinner available. We would not have booked with you had we known this facility had been withdrawn. We were very disappointed. The scented spray used in room 8 was overpowering, perhaps a word to the operator would cure this. Having retired from the guest house business we felt that everyone was trying to make a go of it but not there yet.Good potential though. |

Friendly staff and those lovely animals. The restaurant was closed. I was not informed when I did the booking. |

Paul & Mandy were excellent hosts. The room and breakfast were first class. A great base for Snowdonia and the beaches along the Llyn peninsula. We will definitely be returning. |

Hotel was convenient for N Wales beauty spots etc without being in the centre of the "hub-bub". Breakfast was excellent with plenty of it. |

Not a traditional hotel, but all the better for it. Very peaceful and quiet, with lots of space and wildlife just outside your door. Owners/staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfasts set you up for the day. A great place for young families. We stayed an extra night and have no problems in recommending it. Could do with upgrading to shower cubicles rather than "power-shower over the bath with curtain" type. |

the room itself was spacious, with plenty of room for our travel cot, and the double bed was comfortable. The courtyard that our room backed onto was private (although we did appear to be the only guests) and we felt quite secluded, which was nice. the decor was very dated; simple redecoration would benefit the facilities greatly. The dining hall was very large and, as we were the only guests there at the time, it was almost intimidating eating there. A smaller room for off peak seasons would have been much more comfortable. |

The location is convenient for Snowdonia. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with good access to the car park for loading and unloading. The venue is apparently changing its designation from a "hotel" to "guest accommodation". Consequently, expected on-site facilities such as an evening restaurant were found to be unavailable, despite the pre-booking information. |

I can't believe this hotel was ranked as four star, It is more like a B&B. It is not a hotel at all. |

Well presented, traditional with a quirky restaurant/bar, although not serving food in the evenings. Attentive and friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable, with good supplies of toiletries and tea/coffee. Excellent breakfast. Seemed like lots to do if staying for more than a day, situated as it is in a beautiful part of the country. Bed not the most comfortable I've slept in, though this is very much a personal thing - other reviewers found them fine. A little dated in the decor, but again clean and well presented. |
