Room was very clean and staff were friendly. The Stables is in a good location and it is easy to get to Caernarfon or Bangor from where you are staying.

All of the rooms had an old moth ball smell which reminded me of my grandparents house, which is not what I want from a hotel. Rooms were tired and could do with a refurb but were very clean. Continental breakfast is £5.50 per person which is a rip off. Final point is the exit to the Stables is a bit dangerous, the gravel path onto the main road needs mirrors so you can see what is coming either side.

the shower was poor and needed replacing as cord was broken. There were no complimentary shampoos etc. The decoration was of a very poor low standard. The mirror light did not work. Shabby and lacked any taste decoration. On checking out there was no one to be found we had to hide the key and phoned twice then on our return a swe had no reciept. We phoned 140 and 100 and went to the kitchens knocking and calling out. I did not like leaving without seeing anyone. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Very warm, friendly staff. In an excellent location for climbing the quieter side of Mount Snowdon. Comfortable beds.

The location was convenient for our journey to Caernarvon.

The lack of choice on breakfast was disappointing. The rooms were adequate and clean. On our arrival the reception was poor. There was no warmth of greeting. Our impression was that the person on duty had little idea of meeting and greeting guests. The potholes at the entrance to the property really should be repaired asap.

I chose The Stables because of its location and description of rooms and amenities. The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome. The standard of the room met our expectations and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We had a very quiet and pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

Good value For money and relaxed atmosphere.

really enjoyed our weekend break here. The peace and tranquility of the place was second to none. We had a really relaxing time and because this property is all on one level it really suited my ninety year old mother, who cannot walk very far.

My only critisism would be that perhaps the door locks to the rooms could be made a bit more security sensitive. The locks were old and really need upgrading especially as this hotel is in a rural position.

The location was good, and the junior member of staff (?chamber maid) was pleasant. The room was cleaned daily to a good standatd.

There was nobody permanently at reception - no sense of being welcomed and of somebody being around to ask for eg directions, or to change things in the room. It was a pain to drive out each evening for an evening meal. The approach road is very badly potholed, so you get shaken up every time you go in or out. We had a sense of the place beig largely deserted.

The area was peaceful and tranquil with lovely surrounding, really enjoyed my stay - I will be back, great for business users too.

The price was reasonable which is why I had chosen it. It was for a single night of sleep on my way to Ireland. I guess it is good for horse lovers.

I met one person for 2 minutes, which gave me the key and and took the money, and then I never saw anyone again. The place was empty and the reception never manned. The room was cold when I got in it. The Internet only works in the reception area, which is a very dull place to use a computer since you are on your own continuously.
