The evening meal and breakfast were well prepared and very hot. Bar price good but would not eat in the restaurant at their prices. The hotel is nice but it is becoming tired looking, worn chairs and desk and bed cover |

How near it was to Darlington & surrounding areas which I had to visit,also the airport which arrived at & departed from. Was afew things which could be put right.TV Channels was not all working ch6 [was going to watch at 10pm] etc,mold round tap area & corner bath/wall. These have already been mentioned on complains sheet. |

The hotel was ideally located for the purpose of my trip. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Checking in/out was efficient and quick. Plenty of parking available. Good rates through this website. Bedroom decor was a little tired and could do with updating. The bedding inparticular as the hotel uses scratchy wool blankets which are uncomfortable. Breakfast was adequate for the price but a little more choice would have been nice. |

Clean, nice staff, decent food. very hot in bathroom as couldn't turn the radiator down - a design fault though, not anything broken. |

The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The decor was in good condition but dated. In general staff were pleasant and helpful We ate elsewhere after very poor service trying to order in the bar. |

Very welcoming on arrival and the room was very nice and roomy. Breakfast was plentyful and hot, the staff were very attentive. Thank you. We were in room 64 which was right next to the landing door which from 7.30 in the morning was being banged by people going down for breakfast, so a lie in was not on the cards for us. :( |

This is a nice quiet hotel, despite it being near the airport, their was only a few big flights/landings per day, and they are only link planes to the major airports I think. I would stay there again if I needed to up that way again. |

Reception staff pleasant on check in. Breakfast very good. Hotel in quiet location. Water not hot enough in shower. Poor choice of TV channels. Bed not that comfortable. Pipes banging in bathroom during night which disturbed sleep. Reception staff informed about banging pipes on check out but seemed not to care. |

We only stayed overnight to catch a flight from the airport.It was very convenient, staff were very helpful and was really, everything we wanted. Not that we did not like, exactly, but the decor looked a little jaded and in need of update. |

Comfortable, clean rooms and the location is perfect for the airport. Breakfast is brilliant and the staff are very friendly A little run down in some areas (corridors) but you don't stay in them so who cares! |

Nothing The hot water was only tepid, despite being run for 10 minutes. There was only one towel although I booked for two people. The room was shabby and run down (although the brochure claimed recently re-furbished). I could have bought a room in central London at better quality at the same price. |
