The room was large and clean. We had an iron and ironing board in our room, which is useful. Having stayed at this hotel before, we were looking forward to a nice breakfast, but the quality of the food on this stay was not up to the previous standard, which we found disappointing.

Don't let the location to the airport put you off, the planes don't fly during the late evening or early morning, which means it's practically a silent night sleep, that with the very comfortable bed.zzzzzzzzzz

The bed's were very comfortable and it was quite, with no distrubance from other guests The cleanliness of the bathroom was not good and I would have liked to give it a good scrub out. Especially aroung the sink plug hole which had black mould in it. The hotel on a whole looked a bit jaded and needs to be refurbished

A friendly but quiet hotel situated almost in Teeside airport. Staff friendly and effecient. The shower...I can pee stronger! In fact the plumbing in general, you cant have the hot tap in the sink running at the same time as the shower (sink takes peference and shower stops) nor can you have the hot tap in the sink running at the same time as the hot tap in the bath (bath takes preference)

Attentive staff. There was a smell of damp in the corridors and en-suite bathroom.

Proximity to Teeside airport - a mere 2 minutes walk across a carpark to get to the terminal Damp/mildew - rooms and some public areas had a lot of mildew, particularly the bathrooms. Rooms could do with airing more often

The fact that it had a history - Royal Canadian Airforce and it's proximity to my family's event (within 3 miles(. The heat in the hotel overnight was unbearable, and even with the window open it was stuffy - which is extremly unhealthy. The food was very poor - the bread for the toast was old and on one piece there were mould spots. I pointed this out to the dining room staff at breakfast and they made no apology or comment, just a shrug. Overall the breakfast was very poor value for money and quite inedible.
