Courtesy of staff at breakfast and evening meal. Although I had done the booking and had confirmation, I was not known when checking-in at the desk. Our room keys were cancelled one day before departure. I was charged for the Daily Telegraph although I had given in vouchers for the paper. This was due to the room being in the other persons name. Could these not be noted on your computer system? Only minor details but should not happen at a 4 star hotel.

From the moment we arrived everything was dealt with efficiently. The staff were pleasant at all times. Great attention to detail and a personal service. Room was beautifully clean and used toiletries replenished daily. Free mineral watwer in the room. Replace daily.We would certainly return again and have recommended the hotel to friends.

The overall experience was that of discreet, courteous, hospitable warmth, allied to highly professional, qualified well trained staff. It is a pleasure in these days to find this level of service in the uk. The cuisine and selection of menus throughout the hotel was second to none. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will be staying there again.

The location, the facilities and the friendly and helpful staff. I would especially compliment the gentleman on reception when I checked in and the gentleman who showed me to my table for breakfast. As I travel quite a bit on my own I really appreciated that I was given a table by the window on the first morning even though I was on my own. In my experience when you travel alone you are quite often given a table in the restaurant that would not be the best available.

every one was very helpful and friendly. there was all ways someone to carry bags and move your car to the door if needed.room was allways clean when we got back from days outing, fresh water was left every day in your room,tea and coffee were topped up.we asked for a sea view room and got one. breakfast was excellant every day including service had a meal in the restaurant for a special birthday treat , it was not up to a standad it should have been.my steak was only warm should have sent it back but did not. had a meal in the lounge next night and it was good and worth the money where as the meal in restaurant was not.
