Great food Satisfactory location but hard to find. Friendly welcome. Good value for the money. Many steps to to get to our room. Could not get Wi-Fi in our room.

Nice quiet rooms to sleep in. Friendly staff "Mature" hotel Very expensive bottled beer! A good distance from Glasgow but okay if heading South

The food was excellent and all staff were so friendly. My room was very comfortable and extremely clean. Plenty of parking available and a very relaxed atmosphere (lovely range of malt whiskies too!!!) The management and staff obviously work hard to achieve a high standard - I have no adverse comments.

We've stayed in this Hotel a number of times before but this time the breakfast was a little disappointing; over the 2 mornings, we both had eggs which could only be described as hard-boiled, certainly not poached or fried. Our plates were cleared without mention from the waiter on both occasions.

Having stayed there twice before, we knew we would receive a friendly welcome and that the staff would be pleasant and helpful. Our room was as expected;, warm, clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay at the Strathaven Hotel again.

It is an excellent hotel that has been managed by the same family for many years. The Macintyre family do a superb job! It's a wonderful place to stay.
