Location opposite Warkworth castle. Large, bright, well furnished room. Staff helpful about sorting small problems. Good breakfast. Dead plants in window-boxes, some seedy public facilities, fan in our bathroom not working (rectified when we mentioned it), poor reception on our TV - all suggest lack of care and maintenance recently. |

Staff were excellent and quality of food very good.Room a little shabby but bed very comfortable and clean. Dining room, bar and conservatory lovely and we would stay there again The hotel seems a little shabby in places-TV and radio in our room not working and the shower wall grouting not nice.Only there for one night or would have commented .Staff and food more than made up for this |

How accommodating all the staff were. It is a little frayed at the edges - perhaps needing an update, but it was comfortable, warm and the restaurant provided us with an excellent meal |

We did stay for 1 night as they had a cancellation. The hotel staff managed to find another hotel locally for the second night's stay. The fact that we did not have a reservation - the blame was firmly attributed to booking.com! |
