The hotel is very central

The executive double room was dark, with a single small window. It was unpleasantly claustrophobic.

Opposite Church, bells chimed on the hour every hour and I'm a light sleeper.

We stayed in an executive room which although overlooked roofs and carparks was well furnished and had a lovely big bed. At the back of the hotel it was nice and quiet so we slept well. Reception staff were very friendly. Coffee shop - good coffee at a reasonable price

I felt that the service staff at breakfast let the Swan down. It felt as though they were offering good quality ingredients but trying to limit amounts. People were having to ask for more coffee, more butter, more milk etc and when it was replenished it was in small portions (1 slice of butter!).

This was our second time staying here and we were happy once again with the hotel. We had a big comfy room and also a decent size double bed. Staff were indeed very pleasing and friendly.

The staff were excellent and very helpful.

The room was rather small for two people and the double bed only 4 foot 6 inches.

Bed needs new mattress in Room 211, far too soft both ended up rolling into the middle of the bed.

The flexibility and friendliness of staff.

The hotel was right in the middle of town, I'd known it for years as I grew up in Stafford but had never stayed there until now. There was a free private car park, and wifi and freeview tv. The bar area was welcoming and a pleasant place to spend a few hours on a Saturday night. The breakfast was fantastic, huge menu choice and the staff were excellent and very welcoming.

The pillows were rubbish. Too hard by far, I would have brought one of my own if I'd known.

It was located in the centre of town. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Our room was lovely.

It was really hard to find the car park due to the one way system.

The staff were very helpful and the combination of different bars, menu alternatives and lovely room made for a very enjoyable stay, again.

Nothing, although it may be difficult to find for those going for the first time as it is in the middle of a precinct.

It's perfectly located and is very modern, food fantastic, staff very good, it's a very nice hotel all round,

The staff were world-class-very professional yet friendly. We were flying in from a long trip, and they offered us every assistance with our needs, including ordering flowers for us to take to an elderly friend the next day (being Sunday, the shops were shut). The value for money was great and the central location was very convenient. Evey area-breakfast service, front desk, cleaning etc was excellent.

My room was lovely and the view of the cathedral was great!

The shower temperature was a bit irratic!

The bend of modern facilities with historic features. The staff were courteous, very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

Difficult to find by car. A mistake with the bill, charged for items not ordered or received but staff were eager to put matters right and with no hassle.

We stayed in an executive room and had a large comfortable room with large flat screen television. The bathroom was beautiful - very spacious and it looked brand new.
