The staff where helpful
I find being addressed by my Christian name by someone I do not know irritating.
Breakfast and Reception staff were lovely.
Allocated room had no heating on a freezing night. Had to change rooms.
The room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. There's a restaurant next door and a bar but amazingly the hotel was quite and we had no disturbances through the night. It was exactly what we needed to escape. Staff were friendly. Everything was clean and tidy, the bed was nice and soft and we had a great night sleep. Would most deafinitely stay again.
Could really do with having plug sockets at the side of the bed, I had to get up and sit out to use my breast pump through the night. There was no instructions on how to use the heating and it did get a little chilly.
It was warm and comfortable on a cold December day as we arrived from Spain, staff very helpful and obliging, and very convenient on the main A 50.and car parking was no problem.
The only thing we found was the room we had was at the back of the hotel and the traffic noise was not good from the A50.
Good size clean room, staff were friendly and helpful, just what was needed for an overnight stay.
We were not told when booking there was no bar or restaurant facilities and no breakfast, I know it was Christmas but I thought we should have been told prior to booking
Who ever greeted me when I got there was excellent
It was a great experience I felt at home And was very moderate
No hot water for first day
Great facilities clean tidy so friendly will visit again
The staff help me to change into family type room for FOC.. bigger room for me n the kids.. tq very much... definitely will go again if want to shop potteries at stoke on trent ...
Have stated here a couple of times now, great location, friendly staff, great food
Clean, well-ordered room. Staff were very pleasant. Recommend the breakfast. Also a good family venue.
Minor bathroom problems - hand basin drain plug not functioning / loose toilet seat.
Friendly staff & very comfortable bed :)
Ideal hotel for taking our teenage girls , great hotel for couple's and families of all age's , very peaceful at night which meant we all had a great sleep .
comfort and cleanliness
The rooms and the staff were excellent. Would stay again.
Nothing - all excellent.
Nice feel to the refurbished rooms.
Upon booking we weren't aware that the room types had changed. We were left with a single double bed without the sofa bed we usually booked before.
Very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff
Staff were very helpful. Hungry Horse restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. Tesco`s store and petrol station just across the road, also MacDonald`s - very handy. Only about 20 minutes from Alton Towers too. We will definitely stay again.
The only thing I would change is to start serving breakfast earlier at weekends. 8.00 is a bit late for us
Food is served all day until 10pm which was perfect after you have had a long day and hope you make it back in time for food. Spacious rooms and friendly chalet maids.
A girl with short dark spiky hair on the bar could have been friendlier I know it was Halloween but all of the other staff seemed friendly and helpful.
The hotel was easy to find. The room was warm, clean and comfortable.
Some staff weren't very friendly. Our shower was a nightmare - it was either very hot or very cold, no in between.
Staff excellent, rooms spotless, food great, close to Alton Towers
Comfort, size of the bed, location, close to supermarkets and restaurants only 25 mins from Alton towers!!
Staff all friendly, rooms spotless, beds very nice, food excellent, booking up for next month as a treat for christmas shopping in stoke.
