Service in restaurant was quite slow. Water pressure in shower poor and temperature erratic.
When we first booked this hotel a few years ago,we asked for a high floor, quiet room and were given a room in the Felstead Annex. Great views of the River, warm and very comfortable. lovely restaurant and comfy snug bar with a real fire
Loved the comfort of the bed & the cleanliness of the room .
Booking was for a single but got a double instead. Lovely comfy bed. Nice bar & restaurant area. Food was good but a bit expensive, plenty choice for dinner & breakfast. Very quiet, prob due to time of year.
Room & ensuite felt cold in the morning, heating appeared to be off. No nibbles available in the bar ie crisps, nuts etc!
The room, the warmth (when it was cold outside), the breakfast and the welcome.
On the banks of the River Ness just five minutes walk from the city and shops.
The situation down on the side of the river Ness.
Great location we were put in annex long way to haul luggage so be prepared raking on site even if a bit away from rooms close to shops also great staff at breakfast and good breakfast
Room smelled of cigarettes
It was all good, location, comfort and breakfast was large choice of continental and excellently cooked meal as well.
Location was good, room was wonderful.
Had a two night stay at thi really nice little hotel. My husband and I travel north from Falkirk every year to see the late Autumn colours. We have stayed at other hotels in Inverness , but this one overlooking the River was lovely and good value. Near the centre of town , but on the quiet river road. Pay the extra if you can for a river view. We had 102 which was perfect. Spotless bathroom and comfy bed (with bedside lamps which we could actually read by! ) Breakfast was lovely with extra toast and coffee being offered. We certainly will be back next year. (Disabled parking at front of hotel near Reception)
Wonderful high tea, excellent value for money - includes home baked scones, cakes, tea/coffee. We have never had a high tea like it, were very impressed !!!
Cleanliness very good food excellent great location.
We were allocated to the annex which we dont usually like however the room was very nice and well appointed and very clean.
From booking in until leaving the staff could not do enough to help us. They were attentive without being "in your face". Our room was pristine, shower room was spotless and every need had been catered for from the well stocked tea tray to a walk in wardrobe with ironing board, iron and hairdrier. Bed was fitted with cotton protectors and a fleecy mattress topper. Best bed away from home I have slept in for a long time.
Having to leave to come home.
Loved the location, food, room facilities, handy for the town centre.
Smokers gathering just outside the main door and having to walk through them. Not good for my asthma!
Absolutely everything spot on. would not hesitate to stay again.
location and view
bed had seen more bodies than care think about, headboard falling pieces, marks all over walls, still wairing be asked if enjoyed our stay, and if had everything needed at breakfast!! We wont be back
A cosy base for my business trip, friendly staff and great to have a bar and restaurant onsite. Would recommend.
location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable bed and warm room - glimpse of River Ness from window.
Walls a little thin? We didn't have a problem but could hear coughs etc next door
Location to shops and restaurants.
Not enough parking spaces available.
Breakfast was excellent with courteous staff Comfortable bed although room quiet small Excellent location by River Ness
We had to take our own luggage up flights of stairs Expensive restuarant Shower space very small with little water power
Nice room, superior double over looking river. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.
The shower was not very powerful
The room overlooked the river and bridge with Eden court on the opposite bank, a very spacious room with a super king size bed and two arm chairs. The breakfast was more then adequate with a good choice from the buffet or the full cooked, we had one evening meal which was very good.
The service from the lounge bar was sometimes a little slow when there was a function as well.
Friendly hotel staff were very pleasant food was good
Room was above function suite and a private party on Saturday night was very noisy foul language was being used and staff did not seem able to control the noise level
