Very worn and really in need of a refurbishment
The staff were exceptional. Great first class customer focus, nothing was a problem to them. Big thanks to Anne, Patricia, Hannah and the staff member from Brazil. Always greeted with a smile, very courteous and motivated to make sure their customers were satisfied.
On the Sunday it was so very, very, very busy there was not enough staff to clear tables of plates and glasses. The staff were virtually run off their feet. I made do and cleaned a table for us to eat.
very comfortable bed helpful staff even with a problem we had with the bathroom
make sure you have rooms that are not near to road, choose ones that are over the car park, much quieter. broken toilet bathroom needed updating
Excellent value for money, and.very convenient location
The restaurant could do with a refurb
Location Tea making facilities room layout
Decor a bit tired but price was appropriate for this
Bed Restaurant Staff Room size
Good location. Friendly staff.
Needs some refurb
quite basic but good for money
It was very convenient and the staff was very pleasant ..
It has seen better days, a little shabby.
The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and tidy. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Have stopped there before and bedroom was looking over car park - much quieter.
Too noisy( backed onto 24 hour Co-op and garage - deliveries started at 5.30!) Noisy youths outside until the early hours ( one urinating outside of our bedroom window) Pub was tired and had seen better days.
The staff were friendly and room was clean
In dining area the wallpaper was coming of the walls looks like it had been torn could do with decorating
Staff service and attention was very good and the price was competitive
The room and facilities are well overdue for a renovation and are extremely distressed in both the room and the pub
the rooms were fine. bed comfortable and clean shower alright
The restaurant décor was pretty tired and looked ready for refurbishment
Welcome when we arrived. Handiness for Henley where we were racing. Rooms were perfectly adequate for the short time we were in them. Good value.
Lack of gluten-free options for breakfast - but to be fair I hadn't warned them and they did charge me less for the cooked food I had. Dinner menu had few options so we went elsewhere to eat.
Not a lot.
Very shabbey in need of complete referbishment.
Breakfast excellent value
Large, quiet room, clean cotton sheets.
Broken light, broken shower, dirty shower curtains, not very nice breakfast coffee.
Bed was clean & comfortable, bathroom adequate.
Generally, the décor was tired - the whole place could do with a major refurbishment. Food in the Hungry Horse was poor.
PERFECT , REASONABLE LOCATION
First hotel recently to have a really comfortable bed. A little firm but some other places the floorboards are softer so I slept really well. Room was an excellent size, had a sofa. Staff very professional.
Very slight smell of mold in the bathroom but everything looked very clean so code be from the vent.
As im not a driver ,i was very pleased of the public transport facility directly outside the hotel which took me straight to the rail station with perfect links to london and the south west
Price could have been slightly lower (ie by £5~10 cheaper or at the £60 price I paid breakfast could/should have been Included)
Faulty light bulbs replaced promptly after staff informed.
Single beds rather narrow but we're comfortable.
Good large room, although facing road, not much noise. Comfortable bed. Good well priced bar.
Could have done with more tea/coffee in hospitality corner. Restaurant menu very pub oriented, no real cuisine or fresh food, all microwaved or wrapped in a lot of batter; no alternative eating places nearby within walking distance
Room spacious, nice sheets
Breakfast poor especially coffee and tinned fruit. Breakfast menu on tables didn't apply, this was confusing.
Very handy for bus to henley
Decor a litte tired
