The member of staff at reception was very curteous. The breakfast was very good vfm. The bedding was clean. The general demeanor of the hotel appeared tired and could do with a good refurbishment. |

I originally booked 2 x twin rooms, then a friend decided he wanted to come so I rang upto upgrade to a triple, great for 3 guys! When we checked into the hotel it was a double and single, my friend not very happy. We was told could have a single for my friend for another £28.Headboard damaged in both rooms, toilet roll holder damaged, no towels in both rooms. One en-suite no shower with scolding hot water, very dangerous, one of the rooms on the top floor very cold with no adjustments for the radaitor to be turned on. When checking into the hotel wanted another £20 per person as deposit, when prompted I told them they already had taken £40 on my card deposit and just to use it that way, but was not having any of it. |

Nice welcome and very helpful with ref to parking car. Ease of access to the location. Very basic room but ok for one night. Warm radiators and lots of hot water for baths etc . Decorations in room looked in need of redoing - stains on walls etc . Drawers in furniture could have done with a good clean wouldn't have put clothes in them but again for one night no real problem. |

Every aspect of our stay was just awful. Bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned, disgusting!! Carpet never been hoovered. All in all just a dirty hotel which I assume doesn't have a cleaner. Vile. |

Location was excellent and private car parking facility was more than welcome. Breakfast was not included in the price although all the inferences were that it was until after I had completed and paid for the booking. There was no way to then cancel without losing £20. I felt this amounted to deception. |

the bed i did not like the man who ran the place seemed very ignorant and arrogant but his (i think) wife was nice , and the fact that he seemed to not like that i set the hotel fire alarm off twice for having a hot shower as some plonker put the detector next to the shower room and then accused me of smoking in the room when i have never smoked!! |

the breakfast The whole hotel was run down and seedy. Needing a lot of money to be spent to bring it up to an acceptable standard. |

It was pretty basic The way they debited £50 from my credit card as a 'fine' for alleged smoking in the room without my permission given i am a non smoker |
