Westcliff Hotel  

The deal we got from Booking,com was a brilliant price and the location of the hotel was excellent.

The cleanliness of our room was poor, the bathroom was discusting and the room clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival. When we booked our room the photos we were shown were not of the room we were actually given, the room we had was worse. The staff were not as welcoming as I have had at other hotels.

Great location frendley staff room had a great view and warm,and the breckfast was fantastic filled me up for the morning .

Im being picky stairs bit creaky thats it sorry

I only stayed for one night but the staff were friendly and helpful. The reception area was good and everywhere clean and attractive. There were two weddings being catered for on our arrival but we were still given individual attention, which was very good when they were so busy.

I would like a teapot in the rooms for making tea and also a teaspoon! The fact that there is no designated parking for cars. I didn't like the information that I could have had breakfast included in the price if I had rung the hotel and booked by telephone! I was very surprised booking on line and finding out that it was room only.

The location of the hotel and views. Very pleasant and helpful staff at breakfast.

Booking-in confusion with no real explanation. Lift not working - no porterage offered in lieu. Booking terms did not make clear food allowance and did not appear to tie up with amount charged. Shower curtain was very discoloured.

Supreme location with well refurbished rooms. Very comfrotable - would come again.

I liked the location and that it offered good value.

We have family in Southend and it was convenient to them and to town Centre for shopping! And to all other amenities

i liked the atmosphere at the hotel the staff were very friendly the food was lovely and the location over the estuary created a stunning view from the hotel will definetly use it again.

Parking was a bit of a problem but it was the Easter break

Most of the Staff were efficient and pleasant.the Room was clean,easy access to Southend main Shopping Area.

Great difficulty with Parking, When arriving atb the Hotel,the Receptionist showed us a Truly awful room,days later a more experienced member of Staff showed us a much better Room
