In the center of Southend-on-Sea, The Park Inn by Radisson Palace is across from the vibrant Southend Pier and amusement park. It has modern rooms, a lively bar and grill and an on-site gym.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean room. Excellent food.
The staff were very courteous, professional and helpful.
We only stayed one night due to a show at the pavilion. The room was adequate. We slept well, the tea making facilities were good, nice to have mugs. The room did smell a bit of cigarette smoke but we didn't notice it after a while. Lovely decor, fixtures & fittings. We would stay again.
We didn't stay long enough to dislike anything.
I enjoyed the fan and the sea view.
I didn't like the price or the drinks. Quite extortionate may I say.
Near to both southend and westcliffe stations
Toilet brush would help as water wasn't cleaning all the pan
beds comfort. seaside view, room temperature was okay, space in the room.
the upstairs floor was very noisy could hear every movement which disturbed my sleep. Also the toilet was brown inside had to flush it a couple of times to get rid of the brown stuff. Air con in the toilet not very good
Cannot fault anything all excellent
Rooms very good and nice and clean. Lovely Sea View. Very helpful staff Excellent Restaurant
Car Parking was an issue as there is only on street parking, but I blame David Hasslehof who was appearing at the Cliffs Pavilion Theater. The Lift could be bigger, it is an experience, however considering the age of the hotel it is good that it still works:)
Staff were friendly great location clean and comfortable room with great view
Friendly staff, super helpful! Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, breakfast in the morning was beautiful.
The hair in my breakfast
The Westcliff is in a great place to easily stroll to the theatre. Good sea views with an easy walk down to the seafront & beach. It's a clean & modern hotel with comfortable rooms and communal areas.
My wife ordered a lamb cutlet with mash meal but couldn't have it as she had chosen from an old menu (so why was the old menu out?). Lamb cutlets were available as part of a mixed grill and mashed potato was available with a variety of meals. As the staff couldn't press a set meal button on the till they weren't prepared to offer a little flexibility. The lady on the reception desk was too busy to acknowledge us as we tried to book out as she was too busy making a social call on her mobile phone. Good hotel, staff not quite geared up for the start of the season yet.
Surroundings, room overall, 4.5, only one thing, wi-fi poor
Wi fi, apart from that 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Location excellent and staff very friendly.
When we checked in we were on half board and nobody explained about supplement allowance. When we got our bill the supplement we had already paid had not been deducted and we had to wait while it was sorted out.
The Windows did not seal well and wind sound blowing to the window was very high, could not sleep.
Large comfortable lounge area and a quirky bar. Rooms were spacious and had a proper bathroom with bath and shower. The wardrobe was well stocked with hangers which is unusual! Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Our room was at the side of the hotel and we had no view. It was also quite noisy. There was no safe, mini bar or fridge. There was only one lift for the entire hotel and that only held two people so was constantly in use! No resident car parking available
The cold air by the windows having breakfast.
CLEAN LOOKING HOTEL WITH POLITE AND ATTENTIVE STAFF. CLEAN MODERN ROOMS AND EXCELLENT FOOD.
HEATING THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL. SOME ROOMS WERE TOO WARM
Loved the view from my room, loved that all the components for a beautiful cooked breakfast were all laid out (and tea offered straight away). Loved the fact that the bar stayed open late and the friendly barman. I had a neat, clean room, a comfy bed and it was very quiet. Perfect!
I have absolutely no complaints at all. From the moment I received a smiling greeting from the lovely and efficient blonde lady on reception I felt very welcome!
The staff in the restaurant was very good and attentive.
The room we booked was very dark and the outlook was a brick wall, ask for a upgrade to a room with seaview, much better, had breakfast in our room, not very good service, on the first morning our breakfast was left outside our room on the floor plus there was some basic things missing from our breakfast eg: jam, butter and warm croissants, toast was burnt, on the second morning we order breakfast to our room for 7am and breakfast arrived 7.45am!
Very friendly and pleasant staff. Loved the hotel. I will be coming back soon for a longer stay and I will be bringing my GF with me this time.
Lift was way too small for the size of the hotel. I only just fitted in it with one of the receptionists and a small suitcase and back pack
Everything nothing was too much trouble

Nice quiet room on the 4th floor, friendly and helpful receptionists, good breakfast, comfortable if a bit sparse room.
Horrid lift, very smal and slow, no good if you're claustrophobic! but.. There is always the stairs.
Bathrooms are very dated and way too small. cant swing a cat in them.
