Great staff Leisure facilities Nice size room Great bed
Cleanliness Fair size room, but a long walk from reception /Spa with bad foot. Evening meal excellent once it arrived one hour late, complimentary drink and dessert given for delay.r
One hour from ordering meal to serving, poor excuses given. Fire alarm at 5-30am meant bad sleep. Staff at breakfast poor, food poor/fair.
The use of mobile phones and laptops was not appreciated. The cost for meals was not competitive were overpriced
Lovely location and the staff were excellent to everybody. The breakfast was buffet and was very good.
Staff were efficient but friendly. The accommodation and facilities were good. All you could eat breakfast set you up for the day.
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff.
Overall the food was average I thought. The caesar salad was terrible. Also, when I complained at check out that I'd been overcharged for my dinner (only by £1.50 admittedly) there was no offer to refund it.
Enjoyed our meal, the staff in the grill bar were very attentive. The leisure facilities were great, clean and in great location, the views from the pool were stunning. Room was good size and comfortable.
Staff got our bill wrong twice, overcharging us in total by £70. Poor wine list. Not enough seats in bar area despite there being plenty of space. Short staffed at breakfast time. Ran out of items on made to order menu. Some staff less welcoming than others. No room service menu.
Nice clean room , staff were helpful
Understaffed. Shower cubicle in bathroom is very small
Lovely newly refurbished rooms, nice pool and gym area. Good breakfast, overall staff helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed my stay here.
Some of the staff were less friendly and welcoming than others! long walk to some of the rooms due to the layout of the hotel. Fairly limited food options especially for non meat eaters.
except our first room was too hot. the 2 nd we were given was a standard room although we paid for a superior room. It was very comfortable but could have been cleaner. We eventually asked for it to be vacuumed on the 3rd day because the carpet was full of long hair.
Had all we needed for a very comfortable stay.
Convenience of location Room comfort Quiet location Excellent room service
Decor and carpeting needs attention Why was it so hard to get brown bread at breakfast (each day)!? Room not ready on 3pm check in Member golfers not too accepting of residents in Grill Bar
Excellent quality room and lots of nice little extras like dressing gowns, free mini bar. Bed very comfortable. Good leisure facilities and good value golf. Staff very friendly and helpful and nothing waqs too much trouble.
It was very hot during the beginning of our stay and there was no air conditioner so the room was very hot. We were given a fan when asked.
The prices were far too high for this type of hotel.
We stayed here for the Commonwealth Games as accommodation availability and cost were prohibitive in Glasgow. The hotel is close to the M80 and has a golf course which only charges £15/round. It has a good sized pool, sauna and gym. The Restaurants were both pretty good, but menu choice limited for a 4* hotel. Staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly.
They had a computer for guest use, which had free internet access - unfortunately it was not linked to a printer and needs to be, or they should have a separate business room. I could not print my boarding card for a flight the next day
High price for B&B but demand was high
staff friendly, breakfasts good, location from Motorway easy to find didn't stay long enough to try leisure facilities.
Drinks and meals pricey.
I don't usually write reviews, however I've stayed at the Westerwood in many occasions and after returning from a weekend there recently, I have to say I was disappointed and feel the hotel isn't at its usual high standard. Issued with the food - burgers not cooked properly, no plates for your toast with room service breakfast and a very impolite manager (male) in the upstairs bar.
The room was clean.
Everything else. The sun shines directly in your eyes at 4am even if you have the drapes closed. The shower is so tiny you can't bend over to wash your feet. The wi-fi doesn't work. And the food was the worst hotel food I've ever had in my life.
Fire alarm at 0630 am first morning
Free wifi in room, not many places do, so really good. Great room and bed. Good choice at breakfast.
Why have ketchup and sauce BEFORE the hot breakfast buffet, should be after when food on plate. Also, marmalade not in small or individual pots, so have to put on plate - not very nice.
Staff very helpful and friendly and knowledge
Prices of drink very expensive service slow in bestro menu could be better
service, excellent room facilities
