The rooms were very tidy and spacious although the fire alarm going off during my bath wasn't ideal! The room service wasn't very good as the food was luke warm but I was so tired I just ate it anyway.

The pool and spa is divine, the design beautiful and the staff very friendly. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, spacious, are very clean and have a very luxurious feel. Further to this the breakfast was superb and very good value for money at £99 b and b for two. My first meal - macaroni cheese - had to be sent back to the kitchen as it was very unpalatable however the staff were very gracious and the 2nd choice of meal was delicious. My only other issue was that drinks were very expensive, particularly when staying with young children. Fizzy drinks on draught and served in smaller glasses (perhaps at £1 cost) would have been appreciated! Overall thought a very positive stay and I would definitely go back!

Stayed 6 nights for holidays. Very good value hotel (spacious rooms, great English breakfast, very good shower...). Great location for visiting Scotland with easy access to the motorway and not very far from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend it. We were charged for 2 rooms ten days before our arrival. Time to get our 2 evening meals was upsetting (about 45 min.), possibly insufficient staff in the restaurant. Rooms views on an old party tent...

We booked this weekend to celebrate our 33rd year of marriage. We thought it was a bargain break but it exceeded all our expectations. A bottle of champagne was in our room on arrival, receptionist staff helpful and friendly. The room had every facilitiy, good quality bed and furnishing and very, very clean. Facilities gym and pool available, information about excursions given, good qu ality food. The location was excellent for touring, we visited Loch Lommand and the Falkirk Wheel.

The staff was excellent and in particular the domestic staff and the leisure staff together with the reception staff all very helpful and obliging. My biggest complain is the continental breakfast which was very sparse and very little choice. The bread on offer was the typical supermarket brands with no assorted rolls including granary, wholemeal etc., or . crispbreads, this needs prompt attention. On the Sunday morning there was no porridge! Just for your noting we were in the breakfast room at 9.30am each morning. The cooked breakfast was very good and varied but I and my wife are not cooked breakfast fans and prefer the continental type breakfast. Look forward to hearing from you.

I need to visit the Stirling area several times per year. I have stayed at the Travelodge (motorway services) before but they wanted £79 for the 2nd week in August. I looked for an alternative and found The Westerwood. I was so pleased with the service, facilities and attitude of the staff that when Travelodge go back to their £29 rate we will not be returning there. The Westerwood is very good value!

The Staff we fantastic so hat's off to the magement team for the training given to all from the young man in the Golf shop to the trainee in the restaurant. The position was great for visiting Scotland with it's ease of access to the motorway network. The quality of facilities were very good. Breakfast was a little hit and miss in the way the buffet was refilled, but this could be resolved. The only other thing was to get to and from the pool you had to walk through the bar and we all know when you have come out of the pool no one has time to make the effort of changing so you can look a little out of place especially if you went for a late dip and the bar is full of diners !!

The hotel was very clean, food was excellent 'compliments to the kitchen staff'. All staff were friendly, polite and professional. Excellent facilities. I will be returning again, maybe as a holiday guest rather than on business. Thanks Nothing I didn't like :-)

Room could be closed off from bathroom area, so spacious but not impersonal. Views lovely and would have enjoyed a spa treatment if didn't have to go to work. No facecloth or showercap. Swimming pool not massive.Lots of families staying, but because of the room layout, if there were children running down corridors, it didn't affect me.
