Service in the dining room was rather slow and seemed somewhat disorganised.

the food was very disappointing. a) The crab rissotto was undercooked ( too al dente ) b) The lamb was very tough. c) My suet pud was obviously cooked earlier and then re heated. As the main event was the evening meal, was let down.did report at the time.

Location, my single room was very comfortable. Reception staff pleasent and efficient.

No grapefruit segments choice at breakfast. Dining/breakfast room staff of varying efficiency. not a lot of low fat low sugar options on menu. Separate charge for adequate amount of vegatables

Location in a lovely village, close to many beautiful parts of east Suffolk. Comfortable and well equipped rooms. Good bar and restaurant with excellent English breakfasts.

A room with no walk in shower!

Excellent bedroom suite. Great food. Lovely quiet village. Close to beautiful coastal scenery.

The very small upstairs rooms with sloping ceilings- not even enough space for a chair, yet classed and priced as a 'good' double room. If you want even a little space do not book rooms called Snipe or Swallow

I have stayed many times before as chilled, lovely warm and welcoming

This time not so good, had to get the cot ready ourselves, got left with master keys to the hotel in the cot, some of our towels got taken away on the second day with no replacements and the room we were in, skylark, all we could hear was men peeing and flushing through the walls!! Will go back but one off bad time!!!

The suite; the roll top bath; the service

The location, the friendly, young members of staff and the high standard of the rooms. The restaurant serves gourmet food - no need to look elsewhere. Liked the photographs in the dining conservatory.

Lovely warm log fires in the puiblic area were veru welcoming when coming in from the snow. Room although on the small side was clean and comfortable with ample amenities....lovely big bathtub too. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Arriving for breakfast there was no one to seat us so assumed we could sit at any table. We chose a table that was already set however when the Manager eventually came to the table he told us he hadn't finished setting the table and picked up an already full sugar dish took it away then brought it back! Had to ask to order breakfast and then in a sarcastic manner said 'did you think I'd forgotten you'. Well yes we had as had some of the other guests who were waiting patiently to order. Asking for another cup of coffee he eventually brought a glass of water to the table. After some time we manager to tell he that we hadn’t ordered water and that it must be for another guest. No sign of the coffee at this stage so I gave up. The following morning the Manager wasn’t there and it was an completely different atmosphere amongst both guests and staff and much more efficiently run.

Nice rooms good food

Restaurant service was very poor! 40 minute wait between starter and main course. 30 minute wait for coffee and 25 minute wait for bill! They were not that busy ???

One of the main reasons we chose the Westleton Crown was that they have a decent resturant and we weren't dissappointed. Good atmosphere, pleasant staff. Very enjoyable break.

A few more seats in the bar would have been nice.

The relaxed and casual atmospere yet very efficient and met all expectations.

The position in the village, the delicious food, the log fires, the comfortable rooms, the general ambience of the place.

There was nothing to dislike, perhaps next time we will have a first floor room so we can have the window open at night and feel safe!!

Excellent food, friendly staff, lovely room (though it was one of the 'best', higher priced ones). General ambiance relaxed and informal, but all very high standard.

Some of the 'shabby chic' furnishings were a bit too shabby! But a small criticism of otherwise excellent place to stay.

We requested a quiet room and that is exactly what we were given. All the staff were cheerful and you felt that it was important to them that you enjoyed your visit, which we certainly did.
