although the room was small, it still had everything we needed, and the beds were very confortable. It was very hot day, and the window only opened a fraction |

The hotel was in a good location for the city centre and other facilities within Chester, The free shuttle bus into the centre was helpful, available form the Station nearby. Air conditioning would have been helpful as it was very hot when we stayed. |

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff at all levels and proximity to City centre made this an ideal place to stay. Our room was immediately above the lounge (live music) and soundproofing was not great. With an early flight next morning this was not ideal. |

It's location, quite a long walk to shops/restaurants. Not a nice area, didn't feel safe. Better suited to groups. Single rooms are very small. Didn't get a wake up call. |

Good location. Very close to train station and only a 10 minute walk into Chester. Small number of ver good restaurants in the vicinity. Decor of the room was very dated. Excellent shower but the angle of the shower head couldn't be adjusted which meant it was very difficult to stand under the stream of water! Buffet breakfast was fine but it was virtually impossible to get the waiters attention to have tea/coffee or toast. |

We liked the whole atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were very professional and could not do enough for you. Our room although very small was very comfortable and very clean. We would not hesitate to book there again. |

The staff were lovely. We were on a girlie weekend for my birthday and didnt get back till the early hours. The staff were welcoming and so friendly. The bar was great with a buy 1 get one free offer on some drinks. Made my visit to Chester a fatastic one and i will certainly return. Rooms basic but very clean and comfy. Shower great. Thanks! The rooms were tiny!! 8 girls booked 4 rooms and all were very small. We wern't bothered as we only got ready and slept in there so wasnt an issue! |

Easy access to the shops and railway service, also for veiwing the city and its history. We thought the tour bus service was very good and informative. Nothing we felt after our very too short stay too short. |

The Bucks Fizz at breakfast was a lovely touch. The room was rather small but very clean and comfortable. We has four rooms three were very good;clean and comfortable but small but the larger one over the front portico, while clean smelled of damp. |
