I like the location, great to hop on and off buses into the city. Staff not being able to find my booking even though payment was taken in April, misspelling of my name. Residents shouting at 2.50 am with nobody dealing with noise.

The room was too small. A window which was very small. Not much daylight. Had to have all the lights on in the day which were very dim due to being energy savers. No heat in bedroom. Radiator switched off. No control to be able to switch on. Had to ask for a fan heater. Had to ask for extra sugar for the hospitality tray. Beds very poor quality and very worn. One of the beds was slotted in between the wall and the dressing table, thus could not stretch out as feet were touching the dressing table. Breakfast was average. No bread to choose from, only toast was offered and drinks were only offered on requesting refills.

Convenient for the city centre and restaurants. Quiet, large bedroom. Breakfast was plentiful. Snack lunch was served promptly. Dark decor throughout hotel rather gloomy especially in bar. No walk-in shower.

I found the staff very friendly, the place had just been decorated, it was a ten minute walk to the town centre. Although the parking wasn't free it was just behind the hotel and it was only £2.90 per day. When we arrived, because we had booked breakfast we were given two drinks vouchers each to use in the bar, well worth it. It seemed strange to have pictures of Rome all around the reception when you are in such a lovely place as Chester surley there are great pictures of the local city. It's not in a very pictureque part of the city, but you get what you pay for.

Great location to the train station, and about a 10min walk to the town centre. Great for business or a short stay. Beautiful town so the walk is great. Decent room with all you need, furnishings and amenities are of a good quality. Breakfast was good, heaps of selection and well worth the add on. I only stayed one night, it was a great stay and I'll probably be back. Bathroom was a little small and a little tired, but this didn't worry me.
