The White Buck Inn  

Very dog friendly in the true sense of the word. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant as well (one small area reserved for those without dogs). Multiple dog bowls and dog biscuit barrels around reaffirm their attitude to dogs. Breakfast was very tasty and I've discovered sweet potato wedges! Our room was an excellent size with a bay window looking out over the garden. Next time we are in the New Forest we will absolutely stay here again and recommend with no hesitation (especially if you have a dog!).

Very small niggle - quality of the toilet paper didn't match the quality of everything else. Next time I'd probably take my own!

Standard room was an attic room with 42 stairs and no head room. Tall person bumped head often. Not suitable for elderly

Old world charm with great food,wine and real ales.staff very helpful and friendly. Dog friendly with great walks in the New forest. Great find!

We specifically asked for a bath but the room we were given only had a shower and there were no other rooms available. The bathroom was very small

The staff were exceptional. There were lots of lovely little touches, like a free bottle of beer, and homemade shortbread on arrival. Certainly went beyond the customer expection!!

Gorgeous location. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant. Fresh milk in the room , free bottle of beer and shortbread were lovley touches .

Decor a little tired, could do with a little more attention by housekeeping staff when cleaning. Thick dust on top of the TV and on top of plug sockets .

The White Buck Inn is a short walk from Burley. It is family-friendly with lots of car parking and plenty of outside seating/tables. Our room was large with a lovely view. The staff were friendly. The food was plentiful, of good quality and it was piping hot. Restaurant service was very good especially as the restaurant was busy.

The bed was very creaky especially on one side

The hotel is lovely with nice comfortable rooms, the food was very good and excellent value. As a bonus all the staff were very friendly.

Big room and very comfy bed, Brekafast was excellent too.

It's a great location,food and surrounding area. We really enjoyed our two nights.

All the staff were very friendly. Great location and very relaxed atmosphere. Good dinner menu and excellent breakfast.

We stayed in the family suite and whilst the room facilities were excellent and well designed we were very conscious of the noise of what we assumed was the boiler outside. That said, with lots of fresh air it didn't affect our sleep!

Efficient, friendly staff who did their best to give us a comfortable stay. Helpful notes in room and complimentary snacks and tea/coffee. Fresh milk in flask. Room was warm and our very small child was happily accommodated. Plenty of parking space.

Lovely building.friendly staff. All types of people welcome plus dogs which created a friendly relaxed atmosphere.food great, rooms clean and equipped well. nice to have fresh milk in the room. (Also liked the fact the jams etc were in jars.)
