Location and very good breakfast

Terrible bed

Room was good, perhaps could consider changing the sofa, it was in need of some new springs.

the hotel was okay and convenient for our purpose visiting sick friend in the North.. car parking good and secure.

Access form the south is diabolical. You should recommend access from the north of the city via the A46

Everything. The location was excellent. We had a view of the Cathedral, which was amazing. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. It was an absolute delight.

The very salty soup in the restaurant, which I sent back and the cook acknowledged it was overly salty. The staff bent over backwards to rectify the situation.

The location is excellent for those wishing to stay near to the Cathedral and Castle.

The food and service in the restuarant leaves something to be desired.

Location. Large comfy bed. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Pleasant friendly staff on reception.

Bathroom was a in need of a bit of decorating. We were shown to our table at breakfast but had to ask for a cup of coffee/tea some 20 mins later, other people were coming in and getting served straight away.

Great location, really lovely part of Lincoln, also our room overlooked the Cathedral, so a room with a gorgeous view.

The hotel is very close to Lincoln Cathedral, the Castle and the old part of Lincoln - so is great for tourists. It has a faded charm but was comfortable and clean. If the price is right I will stay there again.

We are an elderly couple and were very impressed by the staff- they were all so kind, attentive and helpful.

It was our 40th wedding anniversary & our daughter knew we had stayed at the White Hart in Lincoln before and loved it, Tom Hanks & his film crew were actually staying in it last time we went to film the Davinchi Code! My daughter paid for us to stay there again for our anniversary & the hotel even left us a anniversary card in our room which was a lovely touch. Will be back on our 41st Anniversary again!

They had modernised part of the bar/reception area, just hope they are going to keep the vintage, historic, olde world side to the hotel as there are too many old buildings made too modern

location right by castle and cathedral and plenty of eating places near by as well as hotel. Staff all very friendly and helpful

Good location in the centre of the historic part of lincoln

must have been an amazing hotel in its heyday but is now looking a little tired and is in urgent need of refurbishment. Threadbare carpets and ancient tv's , tired decor. Not at all what I was expecting. Very noisy too, did not get a peaceful night.

Great hotel in a great location. I was on business at the hospital; this hotel in Bailgate is the perfect location. My room looked out onto the Cathedral. It was large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, the staff are very good. All in all excellent.

The room was lovely with little separate "sitting room". Staff were friendly and helpful. Location - fantastic.

Lift was broken and we were in room 350 with two small children - kept us fit though.
