The staff did their best to rectify the problems It's a pity that the lift was not working. We had to have the room lock changed during our stay. |

Room was clean and comfortable with enough tea and coffee for an overnight stay for 2 people. Thete were not enough towels for 2 people to get dry after having showers. One of the towels we did have was very worn and had a hole in it. |

Made to feel welcome on arrival. Located next door to a Pub/Beefeater type restaurant, which had a very good value menu, so you didnt have far to go if you fancied something to eat or a drink. (dont let the idea of being next door to a pub/restaurant put you off, as it wasnt noisy or invasive). Rooms at the front can be a bit noisy due to the road traffic. |

As a singleton traveller on business for a week, the staff ensured that I had a large comfortable room for my stay. This was much appreciated. The lift was broken (not the hotel's fault) and it was difficult travfelling up the 3 flights of stairs with luggage and laptop. Perhaps a temporary porter may have been employed. |

Convenient position - Friendly Staff - Pleasant Breakfast Room Lifts not working - Handrail still not fixed as mentioned in previous Guest Reviews - Bathroom required a good clean ( black mould around bath & dirt between bath panel and bath lip ) Bedrooms could do with a lick of paint. |
