Everything - We had been to visit friends to collect some family history from WW1. We needed a place to stay before going on to the airshow at Eastborne the next day. We had a good stay, good room, good people, good breakfast. I would recommend the White House.
Made to feel welcome, good service and a lovely breakfast.
Can't say as there was anything to dislike.
The room was a decent size with large ensuite bathroom and nicely decorated. Dining facilities were good and service was excellent. We'll see you again!
Traffic noise from Lymington Road wasn't ideal.
Ann and Bob are very friendly and helpful but let you get on and enjoy your stay. Breakfast was very good, and good value too all round. The room was comfortable (although a little warm in the heat wave!) but we were able to leave windows open and there was a fan and mini fridge provided. Walking distance to nice beaches and there's a bus up into New Forest if you don't have a car. 2 nice pubs and shops around for essentials.
Nothing, it's a good value B&B, we'd stay there again.
Clean Value for money Free on-site car parking
Shower pressure machine not the best. Quite tight and not much space
The lady who runs/owns this is lovely. Nice friendly atmosphere, great service. Breakfast lovely and kettle etc in room
A little unclean for me in the bathroom. Also (and I realise there is little that can be done for this) the entrance to the car park is so very small, was genuinely concerned about getting my car in and out.
Location is good and car parking is a bonus
We felt as if we were a nuisance being there. The dining room table for two was so small there was not room to put anything. We were not asked how we slept, was everything OK, not offered more tea or toast. Room could have done with a touch up off paintwork and doors etc could have done with a good wash down.
sub-standard fittings, uncomfortable mattress, very dirty bathrooms, very dirty house in general.
Excellent breakfast, large portions and large selection available. Lovely room, clean and fresh.
Very clean and tidy
Carpark very tight and not many places to eat in the evening
very good location. good clean rooms. breakfasts very good with excellent service.owners friendly
Breakfast! Mugs for self- service drinks instead of cups. Roomy bathroom, (but very heavy door). Friendly hostess.
Noise of the traffic. Bedroom rather space-restricted
Good choice for breakfast food.
Lovely cosy accommodation, had event at Highcliffe Castle, so location was perfect
Warm welcome, comfortable room with large bathroom, very clean throughout. Would stay here again.
Welcoming, lovely decor, even an electric fan (needed as we arrived in hot weather). Everything sparkling clean and crisp. Delicious breakfast with all the trimmings. Everything was thought of. Literally at the edge of town, so just seconds from shops but feeling more residential.
We were not bothered by traffic noise, though we had worried as the room was over a main road. Compact, though well laid out.
friendly owners cleanliness great breakfast menu
Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Very good breakfast.
Very comfortable spacious room, House very quiet despite being on a main road, Good parking at back, Very good breakfast with plenty to eat and drink if desired. We will certainly book the 'Johnson room' again. Land lady very pleasant.
We like it all and were impressed ! If we were to pass a comment it would be to suggest perhaps some additional shelving in bathroom for makeup and toiletries if staying for a few days !
fantastic base point for getting to the places we wanted, fairly quiet, friendly owners.
The only issue we have was the parking... you have to go down a drive at the side of the house which is extremely tight and has a nasty kink in the middle before coming to a small car park at the back... quite mad and worse in the dark.!! And that is providing you don't overshoot the entrance on the busy road....!!
It was in close proximity to where I was attending a wedding. Breakfast was nice and filling. It's a basic B&B. You get what you pay for.
We had a enjoyable stay and will use again when in that region.
