Spotlessly clean Delicious cooked breakfast using local produce Very flexible with arrival times Good location not far from motorway
Free wifi and location
The room was damp smelling with what looked like mould on the window blind. The sit down shower was a shock and with the addition of a plastic jug to rinse your hair we were extremely disappointed.
A nice place overall
Room was nice size location good
Host not welcoming . Breakfast average was told ours was best room in house so would only recommend if you can get room 3
Lovely area. Good local gastropub
Constant motorway noise but soon able to ignore it
Lovely room, perfect location for a stop on the way to the Isle of Skye. Dogs welcome too
Everything! Friendly owner, lovely place, great breakfast
Fresh white decor. Lovely big bed and a beautiful old house. Also fabulous pub down the road for a real treat for dinner
Lovely welcome by Helen, good suggestions of things to do around the area. Super breakfast and allowed to leave at our leisure.
Owner Room Facilities Breakfast
Great comfort & excellent breakfast
Nobody to greet us
Clean, fresh room. Good location for sights. Breakfast was spot on! Friendly hostess.
Not really a dislike but would've preferred a shower over a bath.
room size comfort of bed welcome by owner and recommended a very good hostelry a few miles away where food was very good
struggling to find something cant
Helen (hostess). Comfy bed. Lovely home cooked breakfast.
Sloping ceiling in bathroom a bit low. I kept hitting my head!
Breakfast Library Personal touch from helen Location History of Clifton
Small tv Noisy plumbing!!!!!!!
Everything about our stay was just great. A warm welcome, good clean rooms, large bath towels. The best home cooked breakfast ever. Helen Mulholland was just great as a B&B host, just the girl for the job. We wanted to stay longer, but no rooms available, so alas we headed home. Would certainly recommend, to any one travelling to Scotland or the Lakes.
Ummmmm Cannot think of anything we would change
Lovely location.great room.would definitely come again. Thank you.
Could do with a shower
We were made to feel very much at home with provision for us to access our room immediately. The bed was simply wonderful after more than 24 house in transit. Our hostess was a great First Lady!
Beautiful house in lovely surroundings.
I didn't sleep because the mattress was sloppy.
ease of parking and breakfast
compared to another B&B we stayed in it was over-priced
Very friendly but unobtrusive host. Very comfortable bed and modern, squeaky clean accomodation in a good setting. Excellendt breakfast. Will book again when I next go to this beautiful part of England.
Everything. Helen was a lovely host and very friendly and gave us loads of local tips. Our room was amazingly comfortable, more so than my own home, and spotlessly clean throughout the entire house. Helen also did a vegan breakfast for me including sausages, mushrooms, bean, tomato, toast and almond milk, which was delicious. Clifton is a beautiful village with a very nice local pub which does great food and ale too. We were camping the following night and oh how we missed the "cloud beds". Thanks Helen!
Welcoming and cosy, felt relaxed and at ease from the moment I arrived.
We liked the location. We were travelling between Manchestet and Fife. Perfect halfway stop. Walking distance to pub. Even though no-one home on our arrival (we knew in advance) lovely welcome note and key to room. Great breakfast. Nice chatting to owner.
I liked the fact helen the owner is great nothing is too much. Breakfast was fab you order every day and no matter what you ordered it was top notch.
Having to go to work.
