Good location; very friendly staff Satellite tv (seemed to) shut down after midnight, or so -- for the jet- lagged, unable to sleep, this was an inconvenience. Closet in my room was insufficient due to partial blockage by other things in closet (E.G. safe did not allow coats, suits, etc. to be hung without wrinkling. Walls were a bit thin (but it was a heritage building, so this may be expected).

Affordable, clean and excellent friendly service. I needed a single nights accommodation in Swansea and I chose the White House based on others reviews. I was not dissapointed and would have happily stayed longer.

Starff friendly and courteous, received a warm welcome upon arrival. Room was clean, warm and well eqipped. Overall decor was of a high standard. Flat screen tv was too small, for viewing comfortably, for the size of the room.

Hosts were very friendly. Breakfast choices were very good and food was excellent. Hotel was very nicely presented and very clean. Our only complaint was that our double bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We had two nights of poor sleep. New mattress needed!

This place ticked all the boxes for us. Televisions are in all rooms so no television in the lounge which is the complete opposite to the larger change of hotels. Just piece and quite which enabled us to chat and meet three charming people from Lebanon. Great evening.Nothing was too much for our hosts. Only the system flushing on occassions from a nearby room but not too much of a problem.

The Welsh breakfast with cockles and laverbread was a nice touch. Things weren't quite as nice as you would have expected for the price -- the bathroom door didn't close properly, you could hear noise from the neighbouring rooms, the wet towels were folded and left on the bed rather than being changed for fresh ones (and they made the bed wet too), etc. The little touches were missing.

Being it was the first time I had gone back to Swansea to see family on my own it was important that the Hotel was friendly and not too large I found the White House was great for that. The breakfast was excellent and the whole overall experience was very satisfactory. I would most certainly use the Hotel again The only draw back was being on my own I did not feel comfortable going out for a evening meal on my own and if the Hotel had served evening meals I would have made use of that
