I liked everthing about this hotel. The staff were courteous and friendly, the room was very elegant with two lovely arm chairs, various weighted pillows, lovely mattress, great en suite power shower and all extremely clean! Not to mention the best breakfast I've had away all year! If only i could get this in London for this price. I would recommend this hotel strongly to anyone whos looking for a 'no brainer' stay in Swansea

Not being pestered by staff. 1. Toilet wouldn't flush (the cistern diaphragm seems to be shot) 2. Shaving socket broken. 3. Shower when switched on sounded as if ready to explode, all lights in room started to flash. 4. Breakfast was tasteless, awful. 5. I asked for a double room and ended up with a cramped family room. I don't know whether I have 'idiot' tattooed on my forehead or not, but I am fed up with being put in grotty back rooms because I am only staying one night. I will be asking for compensation for one of my worst nights away from home ever.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with good facilitiesm eg tea, coffe and en-suite. Plenty of choice for food and drinks near-by. Nothing personally, but area has quite a high population of students which may not be to everyones tastes.

The attention to detail was impressive. The single room, whilst compact, had a high quality luxurious finish to it and was very comfortable and welcoming. They included all the little extras that make such a difference, even down to a jar of lollies (sweets). The staff were very friendly and pro active giving advice on local restaurants, etc. The breakfast menu was most comprehensive and the food was great. I would definitely stay here again.

I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. My room nicely decorated, very clean, warm and inviting. Some lovely touches, like being left a copy of the local daily newspaper to read in my room. The breakfast was superb and the service to go with it equally so. And with the location of the hotel only being 10 minutes or so walk from the centre of the city, it was ideal location wise. I would more than recommend a stay at this hotel. Really excellent value for money. There was nothing I found to complain about.

Bed and linen were excellent and I even liked the shower gel provided... The staff were excellent and had lots of local information for us. I wasn't too keen on having to park on a side road even though it appeared to be a good neighbourhood.
