Good breakfast. Owner and staff were great. Wifi was good. Nice bathroom.
Loud. Rooms 14, 7 and 1 are very loud. Closest to busy, busy street. Bed very firm.
the rooms were well appointed, the gardens were beautiful and the guys were very helpful and friendly
Breakfast, accomadtion, cleanliness .
Lack of lift to top floor, overbearing reception & instructions.
Room service staff were all brilliant
Cant think of anything negative
We found our room comfortable. Owner is extremely nice and informative about the area and restaurants. Breakfasts were excellent. And the spacious parking on site was a real plus.
I would have liked a small chair at the dressing table to do hair and make up (room 6) but otherwise we had everything we needed.
Location was great for good restaurants and nice footpaths. The staff was good and the room was clean.
breakfast was the same choices everyday; not bad but nothing special.
Very attentive and helpful. Clean, Breakfast was great included vegetarian sausages.
Not a thing.
Comfortable room, good breakfast, staff very helpful, good location.
A really wonderful place to stay! Comfy beds, good breakfast and a lovely atmosphere
Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of the month. Very welcoming, friendly staff/owners, beautifully appointed rooms, big breakfasts, charming gardens, good wifi, comfy beds. Loved our stay and if we are ever back in the Lakes District would not hesitate in staying there again. 10/10
Easy to find on main road, plenty parking spaces available. Met by owner, really pleasant & helpful. Advised us on local bars / restaurants for our evening in Windermere. Room was clean & comfortable, nice bathroom & separate washing area. Lovely cooked breakfast served by pleasant girls, nothing was too much trouble. Can certainly recommend this establishment for your stay. Close to station if travelling by train. Town centre an eight minute walk away.
Everything, from walking through the door to leaving everyone was so nice. Lovely room gardens decor and breakfast top notch.
There wasnt anything to dislike.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Greeted on arrival with coffee and tourist advice. Room was very comfortable and cosy. Full English breakfast delicious, the best I've ever had! Well done to Antony and team, keep up the good work!

Leaving at the end of the week!
Excellent room with 4 poster bed, nicely decorated and good size, beautiful ensuite with top quality fittings. Great breakfast and excellent service.
Very friendly and helpful staff at the Willowsmere which made a big difference to our stay. The house is very pleasantly decorated and they have a lovely garden, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom modern and spacious (room 9) with shampoo and shower gel available for the duration of your stay.Tea/coffee/biscuits/water and squash were available as well as a hair dryer and information on the Lake District. On arrival you can find a book in your room that explains all facilities as well as phone numbers for taxis etc... There's even a honesty bar :-) We were greeted with tea and coffee, which was unexpected but so welcome after spending a few hours in transport, our luggage was taken to our room and we were shown on a map the sights and things to do in the area, which was very nice (clearly passionate about the region). Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, the waitresses were always checking we had everything we needed. Everyone was very friendly and I'd come back without hesitation. The Willowsmere is about 15mn from the train station and town centre where you have many eating options, there are enough bus options to take you to different parts of the Lake District with daily passes etc... which are worth the money if you want to see a lot. To recap, the premises are lovely, the location is great because you are near everything without being amongst the hustle and bustle of touristy Bowness and the staff are wonderful. Coudln't recommend it enough.
Our room was facing the road, therefore I was awaken by some noise in the morning, but it's not something that's in their control and it doesn't start too early.
Very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble.
Lots of stairs, but we did get help with the suitcases.
The friendly staff, the room, the breakfast, the location.
very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean and well decorated, picturesque gardens
Owner made us feel at home on entering the guest house and briefed us on all interesting places to visit
Was a bit hot during the night but this wasn't their fault as we were in a true heatwave while we were there
